Located at the corner of Changshu Road and Yanqing Road, formerly known as S**oy Apartment House, it was completed in 1928 and is the second batch of outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai. The building was built by Minutti & CoThe design, arranged along the corner of the road, the building plan is L-shaped, reinforced concrete structure, the façade is simple, the material is gray brushed cement, and the corner is the central axis and symmetrical on both sides. There are two rows of open stairwells on both wings of the façade, and the walls below them protrude outwards to create a concave and convex contrast, making the façade more layered. Under the roof of the apartment there is a white horizontal cornice, under which a geometric pattern is made.

There are also decorations of white geometric patterns between the first and second floors, which have obvious Art Deco characteristics.

In 2020, the Housing Management Bureau of Xuhui District took the lead in carrying out the fine management of the landscape area, adhered to the "comprehensive and systematic repair", promoted the completion of the protection and repair project of Ruihua Apartment, and carried out regional renovation simultaneously with the surrounding Huaihai Building, so as to improve the overall quality of the regional environment.

Built in 1936, it is a fake four-storey townhouse garden house, known as the "four-story townhouse", and is the third batch of outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai. The four buildings sit south and face north, and are arranged along Yanqing Road close to the street. The façade of the building is brushed stucco with dry-adhesive cobblestone walls. The walls are open with steel windows and oval shutters. The wide overhanging concrete canopy on the main entrance of the building is made into a slightly convex curve, and below is a flat arch made of red brick masonry with the same graceful curve, and the arches are retracted layer by layer to form a three-dimensional effect, and the lower part of the wall buttress on both sides of the supporting canopy is finished with bluestone slabs masonry to form a soothing curve.

The building was built by China Jianye Real Estate Company and designed by Ngan & Co. In 1922 Alexandre Leonard and P. Vesée (p.a.)Veysseyre co-founded the building at today's No. 461 Huaihai Middle Road, and then Arthur Kruze, a professor and architect at the Sino-French Tonghui School, joined the team as a partner. The company undertook the design of a large number of modern Shanghai architectural projects, such as the French General Association at No. 58 Maoming South Road (now Shanghai Garden Hotel), the Peien Apartment at No. 453-457 Huaihai Middle Road (now Shanghai Women's Products Store), and the Gaiscone Apartment at No. 1202-1218 Huaihai Middle Road.

Located in Lane 29 of Yanqing Road, built in 1926, it is a new-style lane residence, and is the fifth batch of outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai. The building is a three-storey brick and timber structure with a total of 21 buildings, including two and a half rooms with 3 buildings, one and a half rooms with 9 buildings, and a single studio with 9 buildings. The exterior wall of red clear water bricks is partially decorated in Baroque style, and the corners of the wall are set with corner stones; The entrance has arched doors and windows, rounded balconies, wrought iron railings, and each house has a small green courtyard.

Located at No. 10, Lane 18, Yanqing Road, built in 1930, it is a detached garden house and is the fifth batch of outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai. The building is a brick and wood structure, the entrance canopy, cornice and other baroque style cartouche decorative components, and the exterior wall is brushed stone. According to the 1947 Yellow Pages, the landlord was originally Hm.Cumine (Keming), together with his son, is an architect who has designed the Deyi Building at the entrance of Nanjing West Road and Shimen 1st Road. Later, it was used as a Gro Sanatorium, Cambridge Hospital, etc., and is now a residence.

No. 2 and 4 Yanqing Road (No. 2-44

Built in the 40s of the 20th century, it is a townhouse and apartment house, and is the fifth batch of outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai. Brick and concrete structure, with 1 apartment building and 2 townhouses in the lane.

Among them, No. 2 Yanqing Road is a Western-style apartment with light-colored brushed walls and an elliptical staircase in the curved façade, which is also the filming location of the movie "The Myth of Love". Lane 4 (No. 2-44) of Yanqing Road is a four-storey brick and wood townhouse with a total of 22 residential units, with an annex house on the ground floor, a courtyard in front of the door, and a sloping roof at the top. Oleg Lundstüm (a famous Russian jazz composer and conductor) rented a room on the top floor of Lane 4 of Yanqing Road, which has since become a jazz research room and rehearsal hall. Xu Jingzhi (architect, who presided over the design of Yuhua New Village, Nanjing Museum, etc.) also lived here.
