The New Taipei City Health Bureau explained that Bao Xin Company has violated Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Food Safety Law, which stipulates that "when a food business discovers that a product may endanger health and safety, it shall immediately take the initiative to stop manufacturing, processing, selling and handling**, and notify the competent authorities of municipalities and counties (cities) directly under the Central Government", and will be heavily fined NT$2 million in accordance with the law.
