Self-leveling cement is mainly divided into two categories: cushion self-leveling cement and surface self-leveling cement according to the use of use.
Cushion self-leveling cement, as its name suggests, is mainly used to provide a highly leveled foundation ground screed for some floor finishing materials that require high ground flatness. The main function of this self-leveling cement is to provide a flat foundation for thick flooring finishing materials such as wood floors, carpets, PVC plastic floors, tiles, etc. In addition, cushion self-leveling cement is also used in underground parking lots, factories, warehouses and other places where thin finishing materials such as epoxy floor paint are used, where they need to be crushed by heavy loads. Cushion self-leveling cement is used as a layer below the facing material, which mainly plays the role of leveling, and its thickness is about 3 5mm, and the hardness is relatively low. Although the self-leveling quality of the cushion is relatively weak, it plays a crucial role in ensuring that the material of the upper finish paving provides a flat and smooth surface. It should be noted that the base layer must be carefully inspected and treated before construction to ensure the quality of the project and meet the requirements of the cement-based self-leveling base layer.
Surface self-leveling cement is a kind of self-leveling material directly used as a ground finish, which is mainly used in places that require a high degree of flatness and have high requirements for decorative effects. This self-leveling cement is often used directly as a substitute for flooring. Specifically, the surface layer of self-leveling cement is used as a layer above the top of the finishing material, which mainly plays the role of decoration and protection, and its thickness is about 1 3mm, and the hardness is relatively high.
The surface layer of self-leveling cement hardens quickly, and people can walk after 4-5 hours, and subsequent surface construction can be carried out after 24 hours, such as laying wooden floors, diamond boards, etc. In addition, according to the different raw materials, self-leveling can also be divided into two types: inorganic cement self-leveling and organic epoxy self-leveling. Inorganic cement self-leveling is more suitable for industrial style scenes, while organic epoxy self-leveling is often seen in pharmaceutical, automotive, electronics, food, electric power and other industries because of its bright color, wear resistance and high cleanliness.
