On Thursday, December 7th, our Three Gorges trekking trip entered its 10th day, and the driving route went from east to west, in the direction of Kunming.
At around 8 o'clock in the morning, we left Fengjie County by car and arrived in Fengdu County at about 12 o'clock, and the whole journey was a highway.
We stayed in the ancient city of Fengdu on the north bank of the Yangtze River, which is a tourist town integrating eating, living and playing. It is closely connected to the famous "Fengdu Ghost Town".
In the afternoon, everyone had free activities and walked around the famous ghost town of Fengdu. The ghost town is a tourist attraction with "ghost culture and Ba culture" as the main content, the old name is "Yudu Ghost City", the ancient is "Bazi Beidu", the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Emperor Yongyuan two years of the county, has a history of nearly 2000 years.
Although it is currently the off-season for tourism, there are still many travel groups who come to visit, and the voices of tour guides come and go, wave after wave. Most of them are tourists who travel on the Yangtze River cruise, the boat docks in Fengdu, stays for several hours, and then they get on the boat and continue the trip to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
Nai He Bridge, Hades Palace, Ghost Gate Pass, Huangquan Road, Wangxiang Terrace, etc., listen to the tour guide's explanation, follow the tour guide, we went to visit these scenic spots, they all have mysterious stories, have a long history.
In the ghost city of Fengdu, many prayers are transformed into concrete images and displayed in front of people's eyes, as if to make people have a kind of fearful respect and take a good look at their past and present lives.
A tour guide at the scene said a speech that impressed us deeply, she said: every day in the ghost town to lead a group, see a lot of children with their parents to come, every time is very touched, to accompany parents, accompany the family is her most insight.
On the way down the mountain, I met a crew member on a Yangtze River cruise ship, who was very young and looked like a middle school student, wandering alone in the mountains. After talking to him, I learned that he was indeed a middle school student, and he was currently Xi on the cruise ship, and their cruise ship was docking in Fengdu, and the tourists on board had gone ashore for excursions.
The young man is a little shy on the outside, but there is a lot to talk about life on the ship. He told us that there are many people who take pleasure boats to visit the Three Gorges, and there are also many foreign tourists. The magnificent scenery and long history and culture of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River are full of charm and attract many tourists.
Shuangguishan Forest Park is closely connected to the ghost city of Fengdu, but there are few tourists, and it is deserted, quiet and quiet. Different from the somewhat depressed mood when visiting a ghost town, walking Shuanggui Mountain experiences quiet and leisure.
The most feared thing about mountain walkers is to climb the mountain, we go to Shuanggui Mountain to go around, there are Enlai Pavilion, Su Gong Ancestral Hall, Luming Academy, Yuming Spring, etc., the forest park built by the mountain has a good environment, it is very suitable for activities and legs, relax your mood.
Fengdu is a city on the Yangtze River, and it is a county seat under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality. Visually, the county is full of high-rise buildings and prosperous streets. When we go to a new place, we like to have a sense of curiosity and take a look, which is also a different experience.
On the tenth day of the trip, we visited the ghost town of Fengdu and climbed Shuanggui Mountain. This is a characteristic attraction in the long history and culture of the Yangtze River Basin, and we went to experience it.
