What mindset does it take to do things?
Don't be anxious, don't be afraid, shameless
1. Don't be in a hurry.
Tao Te Ching: Impatience is the loss of the king.
Inner restlessness will lose mastery.
There is a great characteristic in human nature: that is, to be in a hurry.
It is precisely because of this that many lives are failures.
We must be determined in what we do.
What is a set of mind?
It is to think clearly before deciding to do this thing, once you make up your mind to do it, you should settle down, complete it with practical intentions, and actively solve any problems you encounter, so that the responsibility stops with me.
Of course, the determination in this does not mean that we must go one way to the end in everything we do, and we will not give up if we do not succeed.
A lot of things require quick trial and error at a low cost, and that's no problem.
However, this does not conflict with doing things with a fixed mind.
Determination is to set a goal for yourself before doing things, such as how much time to achieve what kind of results, and to what extent.
Then judge the subsequent choices based on this result.
If you're pretty sure about something, then my advice to you is: focus, focus, refocus.
Devote yourself wholeheartedly, discover the principles and laws of operation, and constantly think in practice.
Do your best to follow the rules, and leave the rest to time.
2. Don't be afraid.
In the process of doing things, many people look forward and backward, look left and right, hesitate, fear this, fear that, and finally wear out their confidence and courage.
We will definitely encounter difficulties in doing things, so it is very normal to have a psychology of withdrawal and fear.
It is normal to encounter some difficulties, and the mentality to solve problems when encountering difficulties. Only with this image can you have the ability to solve problems.
If you don't want to do this, I will have 10,000 excuses, and if you want to do it, there will be 10,000 solutions.
In the end, you are looking at a person's will and beliefs.
Always scared, what is it that is afraid?
In the final analysis, it is the unknown of the future, you can't be sure of the final outcome of this thing, you are afraid of failure, you are afraid of being out of control, you are afraid that everything will be lost.
This lack of security about uncertainty is at the root of it.
How can there be so many things in this world that give you certainty, if someone tells you how to spend your life, and it is clearly written down for you, then what is the meaning of life?
Do a good job in the moment, live in the moment, and leave no regrets.
3. Shameless.
As the saying goes: face is the embodiment of a person's self-esteem and dignity. Some people value face above all else.
Xiang Yu, a generation of overlords, killed himself in the battle of Wujiang, he had the opportunity to escape back to Jiangdong, but gave up. The reason is that he feels "shameless to face Jiangdong's fathers". To put it bluntly, you can't put it down.
Li Zicheng raised troops to besiege the capital of the Ming Dynasty, and when the ministers were helpless, Li Zicheng sent a peace letter, asking Emperor Chongzhen to make him king, give a large amount of gold and silver to reward the army, and use this to conquer Houjin to serve the country. I have to say that this is Emperor Chongzhen's last chance to survive, but Emperor Chongzhen gave up inexplicably. Under the idea of advocating "the king dies and the Son of Heaven guards the country", he doesn't want to be infamous because of this. The reason for this is that I can't let it go.
Many people think that people want to fight for a breath, and people have no face like trees without bark, and they will definitely die.
However, there is a good saying: how much is face worth?
When Han Xin was down, he was bullied by the gangsters and let Han Xin drill under his crotch, Han Xin put down his face and drilled over. In the end, Han Xin eventually became a generation of famous generals.
Goujian, the king of Yue, was defeated by Wu Wangfucha and was captured as a slave, but he was able to put down his son, lie down and endure humiliation, and finally achieved great things and destroyed Wu in one fell swoop.
Those who achieve great things must have a broad mind and be able to endure humiliation and burden.
Mencius Gaozi said:
The heavens will descend on the people, and they must first suffer their minds, strain their muscles and bones, starve their bodies and skins, empty their bodies, and mess with them.
did it, so it was tempting to forbear, and it was impossible to benefit it.
Heaven must first make him mentally distressed, his bones and muscles tired, starving, his body empty, and every action unsatisfactory, so that his mind may be stimulated, and his disposition will be made stoic, and his abilities shall be increased.
Each of these is an ordeal, and if you have a bad mentality and are too good-looking, it will be difficult to survive.
Some people will say: shameless, I can't stand living without dignity and face.
There's a misconception here:
Shamelessness does not mean shamelessness.
It is precisely the shameless people who have the most face.
What does that mean?
Everyone thinks about such a question:
Most of the things, whether there is a face or not, whether there is a face or not, who said it?
It's all what you think.
We have a good face, which will cause a lot of things to twist and turn, hesitate, be embarrassed, and eventually miss the opportunity.
And from someone else's point of view?
People don't care about why you made your decision, and they don't think it has anything to do with face. So, this is just wishful thinking.
In fact, having a good face is a delusion, a kind of self-obsession, which does not conform to objective laws.
Actually, everyone only looks at the results. The result is good, and if you succeed, you will have face. If you fail, you lose face. As for the **, only the parties themselves care.
For example, a bad thing you did when you were a child, and you still feel too ashamed when you grow up. However, when you talk about it, almost no one remembers that the only person who cares about it is yourself.
Shamelessness requires us to let go of delusions, do things firmly and boldly, and finally succeed, you have more face than anyone else.
Therefore, "face is earned by oneself" actually refers to achieving the end result.
However, shamelessness does not mean that there are no principles and bottom lines for being a human being, and things that hurt nature and reason and violate humanity must still be resolutely resisted.
Nowadays, too many people are too self-conscious, we must start from now on, let go of obsessions, follow the rules, and start a "shameless" and "faceless" life.
Don't be anxious, don't be afraid, don't be ashamed" is the mentality of getting one thing done.
