In Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, the Tomur Scenic Area of the Tianshan Mountains is covered with more than 20 centimeters of snow, which has become a fairy tale world of ice and snow. With a total area of 200 square kilometers, the Tomur Grand Canyon of the Tianshan Mountains is a stratum deposited by inland lakes 26 million years ago. The Grand Canyon can see the highest peak of the Tianshan Mountains in the northwest of Tomur Peak, to the west can reach Wensu Shenmu Park, to the east of the Xiata Ancient Road and Qiuci Cultural Tourism Zone, and to the south of the Taklamakan Desert, the largest desert in China. It not only has the most beautiful Danxia geological wonders in western China, the largest rock salt karst geological scenery in China, but also can enjoy the rare ancient rock salt geological scenery in China, the peculiar Yadan geological scene in western China and the unique giant karst geological secret in China. For this reason, the Grand Canyon is known as the "Living Museum of the History of Geological Evolution" and the "King of the Canyon".

In the canyon, the rock layers of the mountain wall are clearly distributed, and after hundreds of millions of years of wind and rain erosion, they have formed a strange scene with strange peaks and strong colors, and a thousand postures. With the fall of winter snow, tourist attractions in Xinjiang have successively kicked off the prelude to ice and snow tourism. The unique beauty of ice and snow and cultural experience in Xinjiang also provide people with a new way to play.
