Conspire with the sober and work with the understanding.
In the ancient village, there was a wise old man named Zhao Dechun. He runs a teahouse, and many people come here every day to drink tea and chat. Zhao Dechun is always able to listen to everyone's stories and give wise advice.
One day, a young man barged into the teahouse and loudly declared himself a "sober being" who thought he understood the truth of the world. He ridiculed those who did not understand him, causing discontent among the crowd. Zhao Dechun quietly observed for a while, and then invited the young man to sit down and drink tea. He asked gently, "Young man, do you think you are really awake?"Zhang Mingyu replied proudly: "Of course!."I have seen through the hypocrisy and ignorance of the world, and only I can understand the true truth. ”
Zhao Dechun smiled and said, "So, can you tell me what real lucidity is?"Zhang Mingyu pondered for a moment and began to talk: "True sobriety is to understand the meaning of one's own existence, to understand the essence of the world, and not to be confused by the outside world. Zhao Dechun nodded: "Very good." So, are you aware of your paranoia and arrogance?”
Zhang Mingyu was stunned, he had never thought about this question. Zhao Dechun continued: "A sober person not only sees the truth of the world, but also understands his own limitations and ignorance. They are willing to conspire with others and look at problems from a different perspective, rather than blindly criticizing and ridiculing. ”
Zhang Mingyu fell into deep thought. Zhao Dechun patted him lightly on the shoulder: "Young people, the real sober people, do not accuse others from above, but bow their heads to listen and learn. Only by conspiring with the sober and working with those who understand can we better understand the world and ourselves. ”
This story teaches us that everyone has their own limitations and blind spots. True wisdom is not the blind confidence that you know everything, but the willingness to conspire, learn and grow with others. Only in this way can we better understand the world and ourselves and become truly sober people.
