On December 9, the Master of Public Administration Forum of Southwest University and the first "Jiazheng" Academic Forum were successfully held in Southwest University, with the theme of "Innovation and Practice of Public Governance in the Construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle". Nearly 90 experts and scholars from five universities, including Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing Municipal Party School, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and Chongqing University of Science and Technology, as well as master's degree students in public administration working in the grassroots public sector in Sichuan and Chongqing, attended the forum.
Based on the results of the investigation, experts and scholars at the meeting exchanged views on the practice of public governance in the Twin City Economic Circle, such as public service, overall intelligent governance, grid governance, government affairs cooperation, human resource coordination and talent market construction, focusing on the five topics of "cross-regional cooperation in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle", "optimization and improvement of the business environment in Sichuan and Chongqing", "digital construction and governance innovation", "urban and rural grassroots governance practice and innovation" and "grassroots public sector and human resource management innovation".
It is reported that the forum aims to promote Chongqing Master of Public Administration students to focus on the successful experience and development tasks of grassroots governance in Chengdu-Chongqing to carry out in-depth theoretical research, broaden academic horizons, improve scientific research capabilities, research and display the innovative exploration of public governance in Sichuan and Chongqing, and help the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of Chongqing Master of Public Administration education.
The successful holding of the forum, with the part-time master's degree of public administration education as a platform, has played a positive role in promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, promoting the summary and refinement of the successful practical experience of Sichuan and Chongqing, creating practical achievements of grassroots governance with Chongqing's identity, and showing the new achievements of Chongqing's grassroots governance.
