Why don't you dare to take the ordination?Ordination does not mean Buddhahood. We may not be good enough at first, but as long as we don't give up trying hard and we keep adjusting ourselves, we will continue to make it better. If we are not willing to take the first step, will we never have hope?
When Master Yu Yi was talking about the Thirty Verses of Wisdom, he said that a concept is very important in our practice, and he said: Our minds have a lot of sinful karma, and this sinful karma is not caused by one lifetime, but is the accumulation of many lifetimes, and there are immeasurable and boundless sinful karma. Just like the "Fuxian Prayer Offering" says: If the sinful karma has a physical appearance, the emptiness cannot tolerate our sinful karma. So why are we able to attain the holy path and destroy the evil dharma with a short period of practice?
In this place, Master Yu Yi said an important concept: when we create sinful karma, we rely on a delusional and vain mindWhen we cultivate goodness and practice the Buddha path today, we rely on the true heart: truth can destroy falsehood. Just like the two armies fighting, although the other party's army has tens of thousands of people, but ** are all stones and wooden sticks, then we are using high-tech ** today, although we have few people, but we can destroy each other. Or that light can break the darkness, although this room is a thousand-year-old dark room, this darkroom has been a thousand years, but we don't have to wait for a thousand years, a light is bright, as long as you know the switch, know the way to turn on the light, you turn on the light, the darkness is gone.
So this place tells us an important idea: from the perspective of the Dharma, it is not afraid that you will have serious troubles, it is not afraid that you will have heavy karma, it is most afraid that you will not cultivate good roots, and the Buddha is very worried. Because light can break through darkness, Buddhism often says that "turning back is the shore", and the Buddha was most afraid that if you don't turn back, you don't want to take the first step, and the Buddha was worried about this. As long as you are willing to repent, adjust yourself, and practice according to the Three Jewels, you have hope, because the Three Jewels develop the true power of your heartThe karma you have created in the past is a vain Xi: truth can destroy falsehood.
So when we make a vow today, don't let your past sinful karma hinder you and say, "How dare I become a Buddha?"How dare I cut off evil, cultivate good, and save sentient beings?How do I do it?Don't say that, you should try to take the first step, because your desire is to follow the true nature of your mind, and the sinful karma that you have created by turning it upside down in the past is a false thought, just as the light can break through the darkness. Why is there darkness?Because there is no light. Why are there annoyances?Because we don't have enough good roots.
So as long as we work hard to cultivate good roots, we will be able to stay away from our troubles. This place is to say, "From the mind of the original kind, so the power is constant", and as long as we are willing to constantly protect our vows, we will be able to produce a function. What are the features?"In transit, you can remember, hold, and prevent", and then "use it as you like, and smoke your own knowledge, and if it is spread, you can calm the source of delusion", producing a kind of power to return to the truth.
