According to the data, the monthly passenger volume of the China-Laos Railway has increased from more than 600,000 at the beginning of its opening to more than 1.1 million at present. At the same time, the railway authorities of China and Laos have strengthened the organization of freight transportation, improved transport capacity and efficiency, and increased the number of cross-border freight trains per day from 2 at the beginning of the opening to 14 at present.
