The Taoism of Qiyun Mountain belongs to the Zhengyi faction of Zhang Tianshi, commonly known as the Taoism of the Heavenly Master, and the Quanzhen School of Wudang Mountain is known as the two major sects in China. The view of this mountain is also very good. Friends who are familiar with me know that as soon as I say which mountain I want to go to, I will go to the back mountain to find a master.
That's right, this time I'm talking about an adventure I had when I went to Qiyun Mountain a few years ago.
Some people say that people's age determines the height of wisdom, in fact, I don't think so, sometimes it seems that most children are wiser than adults.
Because the child is innocent, he has not been polluted and destroyed too much. That's why Lao Tzu said: can be a baby. Can you go back to being a child, and if you can, you've achieved something.
Therefore, Buddhism also has good wealth boys, and Taoism also has two fairy children. The boy is a very particular identity of the two families of Buddhism and Taoism, why?It is because of this innocence, this innocence that comes with innate energy, that has not been polluted, a person often maintains the innocence in his heart, and this person will have an extremely unique spirituality.
Therefore, many people think that cultivating one's own innocence is to cultivate one's own innocence, or to peel off one's innocence layer by layer like peeling an onion and finally exposing it.
This trip to Qiyun Mountain gave me a new understanding of innocence.
When I arrived at the mountain, as usual, I first visited the Taoist temple, and after visiting the shrine, I rushed to the back mountain without saying a word.
Walking to the back mountain, after looking for a long time, there was still no figure, I thought to myself that this time it was probably a trip for nothing.
After walking for a while, I was very thirsty, and I drank all the water, and suddenly I saw a mountain stream, which was very clear. So he walked over and hurried to drink water.
After drinking the water, I looked up and saw a small Taoist boy sitting on a big stone next to the mountain stream, with a fishing basket next to him, holding a fishing rod in his hand, fishing in the mountain stream.

I walked over and said, "Chief, you are fishing in this babbling place, and there are fish?"
He didn't look at me, but said, "If the water is dead and silent, there are no fish, and if the water flows forever, there are fish and shrimp in it."
When I looked, there were some fish swimming in the mountain stream.
I asked, "I see, what you said is a bit subtle, and it must be a bit of cultivation."
In fact, when I say this, I don't believe it in my heart, this kid is obviously only around ** years old, what kind of cultivation can he have?It may be a child brought by a nearby tourist parent, so let's dress up as a Taoist child and play here.
He said: Lao Tzu said: Seeing it is not famous, don't judge one thing by what you see in front of you.
As soon as I heard this, hey, I even know what I think, and I understand Lao Tzu's words, isn't this a master?I smiled and saluted him again.
He didn't say anything, and I asked again: Please teach the Taoist.
He said, "Whatever you want me to teach, I have nothing, so I will teach you anything."
As soon as I heard this, I had something to say.
So I said, "I want to be a monk."
He said: People in the world are enthusiastic about cultivating the Tao, and they all think that the Tao is a commodity that can be cultivated and bought. I don't know what kind of Tao you cultivate, everywhere and all the time. If you don't live honestly, naively, purely, and lively, and then go to the Tao, you may start more quickly.
I said, "Do you mean to be a human being first and then to cultivate the Tao?"
He said: It is to calm your mind and consciousness first, to be less turbid, less paranoid, and less prejudiced, and you will come to cultivate the Tao with a mess of your mind that rolls out of society, which is very slow.
If you live as a simple person, a pure person, a childlike person like me, you don't have to cultivate the Tao to find you.
I said: This is a bit difficult, I am in a place of intrigue in society, if I want to make money to support my family, I have to compete with others, and my child's heart will suffer losses and hardships.
He said: It is a blessing to suffer losses, you should be naïve, not naïve, naïve to maintain the truth and goodness of your heart in the jungle world, and not be easily shaken. Your nature is very natural, this is naivety, if you blindly go against the nature of nature, load it with all kinds of burdens. Then you've lived enough, and what else do you think about cultivating? Monasticism is bound to tear you apart.
For example, the Tao requires you to be indifferent, first of all, you can't be indifferent, you have to live in a big house, you have to drive a good car, your children have to go to aristocratic schools, you have to eat and drink delicacies from the mountains and seas, this year you have done 800,000 yuan, not enough, you have to get another 1 million, it is still not enough, and 30 million is still not enough. That's it, ** is innocent and indifferent.
Cultivating the Tao, Lao Tzu said it well, for the Tao is lost day by day, and it is lost again and again. What is the loss, the loss is the obstacle, burden, and superfluous things, and the superfluous excessive and uncontrollable interference in the mind in life must be damaged.
In the end, it returns to the basics, returns to natural innocence, innocence, that is, nature is as it is, without any superfluous cover-up and changes. When you are naïve, you know that everything starts with naivety. It is because of this naïve power that there is a way to present the image change and interpretation of all these things.
I'm going to tell you five goodbyes to the path of cultivation today. It's also a chance encounter.

The most unreliable thing in the world is our eyes, ears, and our senses, which we think are reliable, but they are actually very unreliable. Confucius and Yan Hui were running outside without food, and finally got a little rice back, Confucius found that Yan Hui was secretly eating, so he was very angry and criticized him, until Yan Hui told the truth, it turned out that there was a little rice rubbed with ashes, and he ate the dirty rice first. So even Confucius's eyes were wrong, because he judged the matter by the limitations of what his eyes saw.
We are also like Confucius, worse than him, we hear that the wind is the rain. When you see something, you can process it in your mind and judge the world.
If a cultivator is like this for a long time, he will not be able to cultivate the Tao in that lifetime.
Many monks often droop their eyes slightly. I don't really see the chaos outside. Just don't let the eyes receive too much stimulation. to exercise their purity. Our senses are disturbed by the sounds, lights and shadows outside, and we are attracted to the past, especially in the age of mobile phones, and you adults are even more unrestrained.
If you are cultivating the Tao, you should restrain your mind and close your senses appropriately. Lao Tzu said that if you don't see it, you can't see it, and if you don't hear it, you can't see it. Monks should come into the world with the mentality of Xiyi. Seeing and hearing is just pure seeing and hearing, and not making judgments. Don't superimpose any thoughts, that's pure.

The most popular thing for cultivators to do is to confess the saint and follow God. To someone as sacred, worship and worship.
Of course, it's not that kind of sincere respect and real understanding. It's just that the ancestors are sacred and blindly believed. If you are an ordinary worldly person, there is nothing wrong with that.
If you are a cultivator, you should be vigilantThe ancestors of the past dynasties, the gods and Buddhas, regardless of the two schools of Buddhism and Taoism, are just teachers.
We should learn from them as much as we can in our lifetime, and we should not worship them blindly. The common desire of these teachers is that you are introverted to find the answers, and they tell us that the answers are in you.
Even if you are looking for the blessing of his power, you must understand the truth behind it. Even the blessings are in your heart. There are also cultivators who worship illusions and like supernatural powers. Enjoy it and never get rid of it.
I thought that supernatural powers were the way. It's good kung fu, it's the ultimate method. This led to the left side door. Magical illusions are all practice side giveaways. Don't be obsessed, don't pursue, don't care. Nothing is normal, there is a hurry to put it down. If a cultivator loses his roots, the consequences will be unimaginable.
There is also a kind of supernatural power that is not interested, but is very attached to the realm. There are those who cultivate the golden pill, those who cultivate the qi vein, those who cultivate various secret realms, and so on. Not bad. It's just that the reason is not clear, and the heart has not been repaired. If you practice this alone, you will go crazy.
Don't be vigilant.
Cultivators should not cling to dead wood for a while, thinking that silence is the way. In fact, it is far from the road.
Some people think that cultivating the skill of extinction is already good, and it is rare in the world, but in fact, this is a misunderstanding. The avenue interprets all things, smart and transparent, endless, **What is the dead silence? If we go into a dead silence, it is really difficult to understand.
If you get it wrong, kung fu is equivalent to blind practice, it is wasted, time is fleeting, time flies, and people have practiced the Tao for decades. Why waste it, it's better not to do it, wouldn't it be better to live well.
The path of cultivation extinguishes the mind and extinguishes the mind, and the heart is like a withered tree. Everything in the world is completely cold and dead. Only one death is considered liberation. If you don't meet the Master's order. When will I be able to get out of the net.
The Tao is the way of life, not the way of death. The Tao is the way of skill, the way of subtlety, not the way of dead wood. The Tao is the way of life, not the way of silence.
Cultivators often become obsessed with the good Dharma. Thought he was awakened. Or think that they have entered the threshold, they are special people.
At a glance, the world is in dire straits, and life is worse than death. I want to save the people from fire and water. or be very compassionate to others. The idea that the world is drunk and I am alone lingers. This is also a demonic obstacle.
Those who cultivate the Tao should be peaceful and ordinary. Seeing mosquitoes, flies, tigers, rabbits does not make a difference. The high and low of the people, the men, the women, the young and the old. Emptiness in your heart, and do good to them one by one.
Lao Tzu said: Don't dare to be the first in the world. It means to put oneself in a lowly position, a position of nothingness, and only then can we have great virtues that are humble and full of valleys.
Confucius said: Threesomes must have my teacher. It means putting oneself in a position of humility and respecting the shining points of ordinary people.
Whether or not we can look at others differently is the foundation of cultivation.

Look all the rulers inward, towards yourself. Seek everything from yourself, regardless of the rights and wrongs of others. To save others, you need to cross yourself first. The stronger you are, the more you know how small you are. Knowing yourself and others is waking up at the same time.
When you wake up, your world will wake up completely, all living beings and all things are without exception, if you don't wake up, your world is a maze.
How can I wake up to the confusion and deviate from the theory of the unity of the source. If you cling to this view, you are a mistake. Lost in self-pride.
Cultivators are self-righteous and think that when their realm is very high, they are constantly wavering in the external realm and are contaminated with all kinds of voices. I have been engaged in it for half my life, and I am still confused in the trade-offs between love and hate.
I was fortunate to get out of it, but I grasped the emptiness and clinged to it. Treat inaction as nothingness. Then everything is empty. Trapped in nothingness.
I especially like the so-called tranquility, looking for tranquility everywhere, offering purity on my head, holding purity in my hands, looking for tranquility everywhere, seeing the worldly excitement and disgusting very much, watching the fireworks in the world, smoking, being trapped by tranquility, and not knowing it.
When he said this, he saw a fish jumping out of the mountain stream and jumping into the basket of the little Taoist boy.

Xiao Daotong took it out and put it in his hand and touched it a few times, said something to it that he didn't know anything, and then put down the mountain stream, and the fish shook its head and swam away by itself.
I followed the fish and saw that he was swimming away, and I looked back to see that the little Taoist boy was gone.
Only the empty and secluded mountain valley remains.
