IT Home reported on December 14 that at the "Make AI Everywhere" event held today, Intel released the first generation of Core Ultra mobile processors.

Officially, the Core Ultra is the first processor built on the Intel 4 process, representing Intel's most significant architectural change in 40 years. Intel Core Ultra processors take energy-efficient AI acceleration to new heights with Intel's first on-chip AI accelerator for clients, the Neural Network Processing Unit (NPU), bringing 25 times more energy efficient than the previous generation.

Intel says it's working closely with more than 100 software vendors to bring hundreds of AI-enhanced apps to the PC market that will transform the PC experience. For both consumer and commercial customers, this means that a wider range of AI-enhanced applications will be able to run smoothly on the Intel Core Ultra platform, for example, content creators using Adobe Premier Pro will enjoy a superior experience.

Next year, Intel Core Ultra processors will bring AI features to more than 230 models from laptop and PC manufacturers around the world. By 2028, AI PCs will account for 80% of the PC market and bring new tools to our work, Xi, and creation.

Intel's first Core Ultra series processors include the You and H series, with a base power consumption of 15W and 28W, respectively. The U-series has 2+8+2 cores and up to 4xe GPUs. H-series up to 6+8+2 core specifications, up to 8xe GPU. In the first quarter of next year, Intel will also release an Ultra 9 flagship model with a base power consumption of 45W, 6+8+2 core specifications, and 8xe core graphics.

The detailed parameters are as follows:

According to Intel's official data, the flagship model Ultra 7 165H in the first batch of Core Ultra series processors on the market is not as good as the old i7-1370P, and it is 12% better than the 7840U of the competitionMulti-threaded performance exceeds 8% for i7-1370p, and 11% for competitive 7840U.

In terms of nuclear display,The Ultra 7 165H is powered by twice the performance of the previous generation with 8xe GPUs, relatively small gaming performance over the competitor 7840U.
