However, when adapting, the drama version paid more attention to the creation of a "sense of suspense", and the main plot focus in the early stage was on the heroine's pursuit of her best friend Feng Ruixue's mysterious disappearance, and the exploration of why the heroine Jiang Xiaoyuan crossed over.

Modern domestic dramas have now formed a process-based routine: fatalistic love that is inseparable and fetters with each other, mutual redemption growth, and various famous scenes of sugar-sprinkling and high-energy ......
Admittedly, there is nothing inherently wrong with these elements.
However, in "Derailment", the heroine Jiang Xiaoyuan and the male protagonist Qi Lian seem to be from childhood sweethearts to later work together to trace the truth of the heroine, and they have always been in a fatalistic connection.
In fact, in the end, she fell into the "big heroine" routine of whatever problems the female protagonist encountered, and the male protagonist came to solve them.
The male protagonist exists completely as a tool for the female protagonist to solve problems and overcome difficulties.
