This accident not only makes us feel sorry for the loss of this young teacher, but also makes us think: how should the elderly who have reached the age of 75 bear legal responsibility?How should the "old man" be standardized?
First of all, we want to make it clear that those who have reached the age of 75 still bear the responsibility for breaking the law and committing crimes. Article 133 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China [Crime of Causing Traffic Accidents] Whoever violates traffic and transportation management regulations, thereby causing a major accident, causing serious injury or death to a person or causing major losses to public or private property, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or short-term detention;Whoever escapes after causing a traffic accident or has other especially heinous circumstances shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years;Whoever causes death as a result of escape shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than seven years. Article 17 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China: Where a person who has reached the age of 75 intentionally commits a crime, the punishment may be mitigated or commuted;Where crimes of negligence are committed, the punishment shall be mitigated or commuted. 
Secondly, although China's law stipulates that drivers over the age of 60 need to undergo a physical examination once a year, this regulation does not make a clear restriction on drivers over the age of 75. As an elderly person, you should be sure of your physical condition and try to avoid driving on the road. Again, ** and relevant departments should strengthen the supervision of low-speed electric vehicles such as "old man music". On the one hand, there should be some restrictions on the age of the driver, and on the other hand, electric vehicles should be regulated.
