Shmygal stressed that Ukraine will continue to promote integration into the European single market, the current Ukrainian power grid and the European power grid have been integrated, next year's work goals include striving to extend the policy of visa-free entry to the EU for Ukrainian transport and business, as soon as possible to achieve visa-free entry of Ukrainian industrial products into the EU, and the implementation of EU regulations on roaming of telecommunications services.

Ukraine submitted its application to join the European Union in February 2022, and Moldova also submitted its application to join the European Union in March of the same year.
