TDK-Lambda Gen 20-38 programmable DC power supply, 0 to 20 V, 0 to 38 A
The GEN20-38 is part of the Genesys programmable AC DC power supply family, which sets a new standard for flexible, reliable power systems in OEM, industrial and laboratory applications. Now more power levels are available (750W, 1.).5kw、2.4kw、3.3kW, 5kW, 10kW and 15kW) with output voltages from 6 to 380V and currents up to 1,000A. Active PFC, standard RS-232 RS-485, and global input are among the many standard features.
Members of the Genesys programmable switching power supply family offer high power density, low ripple and a complete set of user-friendly interfaces. In addition to high power density, the 1U full rack package offers universal inputs. The wide-range input is not only dual-range, but also continuously variable from 85-265 VAC, single-phase, 50 38 Hz. It also has 099 for active power factor correction, a first of its kind in size and density. This ensures operation in difficult communication environments and meets European EMC requirements.
The user-friendly front panel provides reliable control with a choice of encoders for fine or coarse adjustment (approx. 6 or 30 turns) and a four-digit LED voltage and ammeter. Adjustable OVP, UVL, and current foldback provide further flexibility. Even if the output is off, their set values can be previewed on the front panel display. To be on the safe side, the foldback can be set to lock the output if desired.
All Genesys platforms include several other important features. Up to four similar units can be connected in parallel, and the master can be configured by the user to program and monitor the total current of the group. As a result, four units can be presented as a single 3kW to 38kW power supply, increasing flexibility for system designers.
Important security features include safe reboot and last setup memory. With a safe reboot, the user can choose whether the Genesys power supply returns to its previous settings after a power outage, or returns to the zero (safe) output for user instructions. The final setup memory retains settings for output voltage and current, remote or local mode, OVP and UVL, foldback, baud rate, and startup mode without the need for a battery. Front panel controls also include output on/off and local remote digital selection. The front panel can be locked locally or via software commands.
All Genesys products include a standard embedded 16-bit RS-232 RS-485 digital interface. The digital interface allows up to 31 power supplies to be daisy-chained via RS-485 lines. Users can select 0-5V or 0-10V analog remote programming via the DIP switch on the rear panel. Genesys power supplies are designed to be highly modular. SMT technology provides high reliability.
