In recent years, Lanzhou University has continuously optimized the integrated education and teaching system of undergraduate research through the practice of the training mechanism of top-notch innovative talents in the undergraduate research, providing students with diversified choices of training methods, and making useful explorations to comprehensively improve the quality of independent talent training.
The development of the school's undergraduate talent training model has gone through three important stages, forming the current "one life, one policy, one plan" undergraduate research through top-notch innovative talent training model.
The first stage is characterized by the pre-course 1Version 0. In 2008, Lanzhou University started the practical exploration of undergraduate research based on the promotion and exemption of students. In the fourth year of undergraduates, the university offers public courses at the graduate level to enrich and enrich the academic content of exempted students. Students can understand, familiarize themselves with, and adapt to the learning and Xi at the graduate level in advance, which increases the adaptation period and adjustment period of the graduate stage, and has a better learning and Xi experience. The second stage is based on the "excellent training plan" as the model of 2Version 0. In 2014, the university launched the cultivation plan for outstanding push-exempt students, which systematically optimized and strengthened the policies of push-exempt students to study postgraduate courses, enter the supervisor's research group to carry out scientific research practice, and support academic scholarships. At the same time, from the school level, we pay attention to the top-level design and promotion of policies, and further clarify the responsibilities of schools, colleges and tutors. According to the students' participation in scientific research, the college and the tutor set up research assistant positions and research assistant scholarships, strengthened the main responsibility of the college and the tutor in the bridging training of the research, and guaranteed the education and teaching resources enjoyed by the students from the system and mechanism.
The third stage is 3Version 0. In 2020, the university issued the "Implementation Measures for the Talent Training Plan for Undergraduate Studies". In 2021, the first batch of 21 colleges will be piloted. Up to now, 32 secondary colleges have carried out the cultivation of talents through this research. At the end of the sophomore semester, the relevant colleges select students with ambition and willingness for a one-year training, giving students a one-year adaptation, run-in and selection periodAt the end of the third semester, the assessment is carried out to highlight the potential of scientific research and cultivation, and students who pass the assessment can enter the postgraduate Xi stage.
At present, 106 students selected in 2021 have entered the postgraduate stage, and 162 students and 114 students selected in 2022 have entered the postgraduate Xi stage.
At this stage, the university has put forward the construction goals of the undergraduate research integration plan more clearly, focusing on the cultivation of professional talents such as basic science, basic liberal arts, and basic medicine, focusing on key fields such as life and health cycle, high-end chips and software, intelligent technology, new materials, new energy, advanced manufacturing and advanced technology, as well as the humanities and social sciences fields where there is a shortage of national talents, building a new system for the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, and promoting the connotative reform of talent training.

How to break through bottlenecks and promote exploration and deepening

First, there is not enough systematic research on the education system in this study. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen theoretical research and practical experience summary from the aspects of educational philosophy, institutional system and training mode, increase the gradual cultivation and construction of curriculum system and textbook system, promote the connotative reform of talent training with systematic research, and build a platform for outstanding students to stand out and display their talents.
Second, the reform of educational evaluation needs to be continuously promoted. Focusing on the talent training plan of this research, it is necessary to dilute the utilitarian color, and focus on optimizing and improving from the aspects of talent selection, talent identification, and talent cultivation.
