At the same time, the school sets up a special performance bonus of 5 million yuan every year to promote performance to support scientific and educational personnel to carry out scientific and technological promotion work in the front line.
Hui Maixia, a teacher who has been engaged in the breeding of new varieties of cabbage and its efficient cultivation technology, has changed from a teaching and scientific research post to a scientific research and promotion post, relying on the Taibai vegetable experimental demonstration base, 10 new varieties of Chinese cabbage have been approved (registered), and the application of new varieties and new technologies covers the entire Taibai vegetable production area, with an annual radiation promotion of more than 150,000 mu, and promoted the establishment of the Taibai Alpine Vegetable Research Institute by the local government and the school, and was promoted to a promotion researcher in 2020.

Taking advantage of the spring breeze of the school's scientific research and promotion reform, Sun Daojie, a teacher of the College of Agriculture who has been doing the cultivation and promotion of wheat varieties since 1994, has moved from single-handedness to school-local enterprise cooperation, from Yangling, which is located in the northwest corner of the country, to the vast fertile wilderness of the Central Plains, and has set up 18 demonstration gardens in the Huanghuai region, and the promotion area of the cultivated wheat variety "Xinong 979" has reached more than 16 million mu a year.
The evaluation of the "baton" led a group of teachers and students in Xinong to lead the team of teachers and students, focusing on the national strategic needs and local economic and social development needs, writing the best on the land of the motherland, sending agricultural science and technology directly to farmers, and building a fast track for scientific and technological achievements to enter the village and guide farmers to get rich.
The extension post requires a relatively comprehensive knowledge system, not only to be familiar with apple breeding, pruning, pest control, fertilization and other fields, but also to specialize in one direction. Most of my work achievements and social contributions have been achieved after transferring to a promotion post. Liang Jun, a teacher in the College of Horticulture, was rated as a researcher and transferred to the scientific research promotion post in 2014. He has taken students to study apple cultivation and quality improvement in the experimental station all the year round, and has won 1 first prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, 4 national invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 5 new products such as apple pollen and apple special fertilizer have been applied in production.
Agricultural colleges and universities must plant crops on the earth, otherwise scientific research will not be able to fall into the ground and take root. Although Xu Lingfei, a professor at the School of Horticulture, is in teaching and research, he puts more than half of his energy on scientific research and promotion. Around 2018, severe pear storage melanoderma occurred in Pucheng, Shaanxi Province and other production areas, and the entire industrial chain was at risk of breakage. After two years of collaborative research, Xu Lingfei led the team to reduce the incidence of melanoderma from 10%-25% to less than 0-5%, effectively solving the major problem of melanoderma in the industry.
Scientific research and promotion promote the improvement of the entire agricultural industry chain
After the training of the whole industry chain in the experimental station, the farmers can be trained when they graduate from graduate school. Ma Jianxiang said that the contact with the actual problems in the production process at the experimental station made the research of teachers and students more targeted. In recent years, Ma Jianxiang has presided over the breeding of 9 new varieties of high-quality disease-resistant watermelon identified and registered by the state, and a series of watermelon varieties have been demonstrated and promoted in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Hebei and other provinces and regions.28190,000 acres, creating economic benefits of 6600 million yuan. Recently, Feng Baili, a professor at the College of Agriculture, has just returned from training in Inner Mongolia's Jungger Banner. In the past 34 years of research on miscellaneous grains, he has organized the selection and breeding of 36 high-quality small cereal varieties and developed more than 40 local standards and norms, providing technical support for the upgrading of small cereal varieties and increasing production and income. The small miscellaneous grain experimental demonstration stations (bases) located in northern Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Henan and other places have become a window for scientific research, technology promotion and personnel training.
To develop the industry, scientific and technological support is very important. All our test stations are built in the main production areas, which are really to solve practical problems for the people. How to implement and promote our varieties and technologies is to show farmers and lead farmers to do it.
