There are many ways to grow celery, and in this issue, we will learn Xi a creative planting technique to provide a constant and sufficient water source for celery by injecting water into the foam box, so that it can grow stably in the foam box without the need for frequent watering.
The method is also very simple, first of all, cut out the leftover celery roots, the length is only 10-15 cm, and the roots should be properly cut short, clean up and keep for later use.
Next, take the prepared foam box and plan out several pot-sized holes on its lid. Each foam box can cut exactly four of these holes.
Inject water into it, but be careful not to overfill the water level. When you put it in the pot later, the water level just happens to cover the bottom. It is best to add some biocide to the water to eliminate bacteria.
Celery has a long root system and relies on a fertile and loose soil environment to thrive. In order to meet the nutritional needs of celery, some organic soil is placed in the pot to allow it to be fully absorbed.
Gently place the pot filled with fertile soil into the hole reserved by the foam box, so that the moisture in the box stays at the bottom of the pot.
Next, the celery roots are planted in pots, and after planting, spray them with a small amount of water, and do not water them thoroughly. There is no need for frequent watering afterwards, as the moisture in the box will provide sufficient moisture to the celery roots through the action of some capillary roots, allowing it to thrive.
On day 20, the celery's tender green leaves begin to show their horns and the stems gradually become thicker.
At this stage, the plant can be properly soiled, which can provide some nutrients, and after the soil, a moderate spray of water is required to maintain the stability of the plant.
After 45 days of careful care, the celery leaves become more lush and green. From the initial light green to dark green, the stalk has become thicker, thicker and more powerful, and has climbed to more than 30 cm in height.
Curious, we opened the box to check the inside, and found that the celery roots were growing very healthy, with a rich and diverse root system, showing a crisp white or pale yellow color.
At this stage, the celery has reached the best harvest time. This method is designed for creative cultivation and is also a good hydroponic technique. If you have some free time, you might as well give it a try. Vlog clock-in schedule
