To restore the original desktop, you can follow these steps:
1.Click on an empty space on the desktop and select the "Personalize" option.
2.In the pop-up window, select the "Theme" option.
3.Select "Default Theme" or "Windows Theme" and click "Save Changes".
Once you do this, your PC desktop will revert to its original default desktop. Note that this only restores the theme and wallpaper, restores the position and settings of the desktop icons. If you delete some desktop icons or add new ones, those actions will not be reverted.
If you wish to restore the location and settings of your desktop icons, you can do so by following these steps:
1.Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select the "View" option.
2.In the menu that pops up, select the "Arrange icons" option.
3.In the submenu, select the "Automatically Arrange Icons" and "Align Icons to Grid" options.
When you do this, your desktop icons will automatically line and align to the grid, reverting to their original settings. This can also help you recover the clutter that may have been caused by dragging and dropping icons.
If you have other custom desktop settings, such as shortcuts, widgets, etc., you may not be able to fully restore them to their original state. However, you can try to find the corresponding option from the relevant settings menu to adjust and restore.
Hopefully, the above tips will help you restore your original desktop and icon settings. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
