Many people say that this data is still relatively grim, indicating that the self-sufficiency rate of China's tablet PCs is not obvious, and the dependence on foreign countries is still very high, otherwise so many tablet computers would not be imported.
The question is: does increasing the self-sufficiency rate of domestic brake pads mean reducing the number and quantity of imported brake pads, or even reducing these two figures to zero?
From a practical point of view, this is impossible, and the fact that the number and amount of Chinese chip imports are constantly increasing actually proves the strength of Chinese production.
If one day, the number of chips imported by China decreases, or the number decreases, this is not good news, it can only indicate that there is a problem with China's production.
We know that the global chip market size will reach about $600 billion in 2022, and China has imported more than $400 billion, equivalent to 70% of China's imported chips.

In particular, some foreign brands have to specify imported chips for products produced in China, and this part of the chips cannot be replaced by Chinese chips.

There are also Intel AMD chips for HP and Dell laptops, Samsung Micron SK hynix memory, and flash memory from manufacturers such as Armored Warrior and Micron also need to be imported, and China's domestic market will never be able to digest this part of chip production.
Therefore, as long as these foreign brands are produced in China, the more they produce, the more chips will be imported. If they move away, chip imports will decrease.
The increase in China's chip self-sufficiency rate refers more to the consumption of local products in China, rather than to include all foreign brands that produce these chip demand products in China. Therefore, it is actually a big mistake to keep an eye on the quantity and amount of chip imports.
We should be concerned about our own chip production capacity, the value and quantity of China's chip exports, etc. As for imports, as long as China's production is strong enough, the world's chips will flow to China, and even this number will get bigger and bigger.
