In his speech, Chen Jie pointed out that Chinese is one of the most spoken languages in the world, and international Chinese education is an important public good provided by China to the world. Chen Jie said that the Ministry of Education of China will continue to adhere to openness, inclusiveness, extensive consultation and joint construction, work with education authorities of various countries, and sincerely cooperate with all sectors at home and abroad to continuously promote the sustainable and high-quality development of international Chinese education, and strive to provide people from all countries with better experience and services for learning XiChinese and understanding China.
In his speech, Djibouti's Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Mustafa Mohamed Mahmoud, said that learning XiChinese is a great opportunity for young Djiboutians. It is necessary to strengthen the connection between Confucius Institutes in Djibouti and the job market, so that Chinese teaching can become the glue of China-Djibouti education and vocational training cooperation and an important lever to promote Djibouti's economic development.
Mauritania's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Nyan Mamudu, said that Chinese education is a link between Mauritania and China, as well as a bridge to expand students' horizons. Mauritania has broad prospects for Chinese education, and hopes to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between China and Mauritania in the field of education, jointly promote the development of Chinese education, so that more students can benefit from it and contribute to the cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Pu Samin, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, said that there are currently more than 100,000 Chinese Xi students in Cambodia and more than 100 Chinese educational institutions. The development of Chinese education is conducive to cultivating high-quality language talents, enhancing China-Cambodia friendship, promoting people-to-people bonds, promoting national economic development and international exchanges and cooperation, and Cambodia will vigorously support the development of Chinese education.

During the forum, the Center signed the Agreement on Cooperation in Chinese Education with the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training of Djibouti, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Chinese Education in Iran with the Language Center of the Ministry of Education of Iran, the Agreement on Funding the Establishment of the Chinese Teacher Professional Program with the Ministry of Education of Kiribati and Guizhou Normal University, and the Agreement on Cooperation in Chinese Education with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Mauritania.
The forum also showcased the new achievements of international Chinese education in 2023 in the form of **, including the release of the multilingual version of the International Standards for the Professional Competence of Chinese Teachers, the authorization of 15 new Confucius Institutes in 15 countries, the establishment of 43 new Chinese Xi test centers, 13 online Chinese classrooms, 5 Chinese smart classrooms, and the launch of the Chinese smart classroom "Digital Chinese Culture" client.
