Time is the most faithful recorder and the greatest writer. I still remember the scene of participating in the 85th anniversary of the founding of China Resources and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of China Resources Group with everyone on December 18, and the touching stories of generations of China Resources people who have not forgotten their original mission and continued their red blood have been exciting and unforgettable. At this beautiful moment of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new, on behalf of the leadership team of the group, I would like to send my most sincere greetings to the people of China Resources who are struggling in Tiannan and Haibei and all walks of life, and extend my most sincere New Year's wishes to your families
Time is silent, and struggle is sound. Looking back on this year, it is the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and it is also a key year for the group to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" strategy.
This year, we have moved forward under pressure, overcome difficulties and forge ahead with steady development.
We firmly grasped the theme of high-quality development, made every effort to promote quality, efficiency and steady growth, and our business indicators hit a record high. The group has won the A-level of the annual performance assessment of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission for the 17th time, ranked first in the social responsibility development index for 7 consecutive years, and won the A-level honors of the party building responsibility system assessment, board of directors evaluation, and three-year action assessment of state-owned enterprise reform of the SASAC, ranking 74th in the Fortune Global 500. In the capital market, the number of listed companies controlled by the group increased to 17;CR Power was promoted to a constituent stock of the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index, and together with CR Beer, Hongkong Land and Vientiane Life, it became one of the four blue-chip stocks of the Group.
This year, we have worked hard to create new quality productivity.
We have made concerted efforts at both ends of the business of "people's livelihood in a big country" and "heavy equipment in a big country", accelerated the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, made unprecedented efforts in the layout of strategic emerging industries, significantly increased the proportion of revenue in new industries, continued to maintain a high growth in R&D investment throughout the year, and completed a number of scientific and technological research projects. Taking the opportunity of building a national modern industrial chain of traditional Chinese medicine, we will continue to improve the key technologies of traditional Chinese medicine. CR Jiangzhong has been approved as the only national key laboratory of central enterprises in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, the Tianyang factory of CR Building Materials Technology has become the world's first "lighthouse factory" in the building materials industry, and the China Resources Institute of Science and Technology has become an important force for central enterprises to support Hong Kong's construction of an international innovation and technology center.
This year, we have studied and practiced deeply to promote reform and improve efficiency.
We have made a good start in the initial stage of the new round of reform, and further enriched and improved the "1246 model", making it a party, construction drawing and task book to guide the future development of the group. We will further promote the creation of world-class demonstration enterprises, and the implementation plan of the "Four Special Actions" has been included as an excellent case by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Focusing on the "four reshapings", the mid-term review of the strategy was completed at a high level, and the binding goals were successfully achieved, and most business units achieved the set goals of more than half of the time and more than half of the tasks. China Resources Beer, C'estbon, Gas, Sanjiu, etc. continue to maintain their leading position in the industry, and the status of China Resources Land and Longdi in the industry has increased significantly.
