Everyone has been on an island, whether it's a reality or a dream. And Qianmeng Island, also known as Fangji Island, is such a place that exudes mystical charm. It used to be an isolated island where fishermen herd chickens and prayed for safety, and after the investment and transformation of Taiwanese businessmen, it is now a star-rated resort island. And my visit gave me a taste of the fantasy and human feelings of this isolated island.
Boarding the ferry to the island of Hidden Dreams is like entering a dream. Tourists seem to share the same dream on the boat, and the mystery of the island grows even more intense when they are half asleep. The tranquility and silence of the island have become a very different existence from the outside world. People walk along the beach or interact in ocean-themed restaurants, but they also have their own stories and emotions.
And on this isolated island, I have witnessed many life stories. A middle-aged man and woman look at the ocean, as if they are the couple in the painting. Visiting isolated islands is another way to explore life. On the island of Qianmeng, Conch Square, Tianhou Temple, and Wild Pineapple Park are all precipitated stories in every place. Beside the workers who decorate the attraction, you can feel the illusion that time seems to stand still, while the forces of nature are still at work.
This isolated island, with its natural beauty and unique atmosphere, brought me the insights from the literary work "The Last Night on Earth". During the visit, although the legendary fishermen did not see the chickens, the joy and photos of the tourists under the rooster statue outlined an attitude towards life.
