Good strawberries start with planting.

Fresh and direct across thousands of miles.

At about 6 o'clock in the afternoon, Zhang Mingde, the driver of the cold chain logistics vehicle, was waiting for the delivery of goods in the cold storage. The strawberries picked on the same day need to be transported by cold chain to the warehouse distribution center of Baiguoyuan. As the forklift loads baskets of strawberries onto the cold chain truck, he expertly turns on the refrigeration temperature control switch inside the truck to keep the temperature below 5 degrees. Strawberries are delicate, and the suitable temperature is 2-4 degrees. In order to prevent damage caused by bumps in the road, the speed of the vehicle is generally controlled at 80 kilometers per hour.

Two hours later, the cold chain car was fully loaded, and Zhang Mingde set off. His destination this time was 1,300 kilometers away from the Baiguoyuan Dongguan Warehouse Distribution Center. At the same time, the staff of the Dongguan warehouse distribution center received a message from Zhang Mingde, informing him that he was expected to arrive during the day the next day.

A series of standardized operations of cold storage pre-cooling and drivers are also the experience of Baiguoyuan's joint experts for many years. In the early days, when Baiguoyuan transported strawberries, the loss rate of strawberries per car to Shenzhen was as high as 60%, Yu Huiyong paid attention to this problem, and sorted out the packaging, transportation, distribution and other links one by one to find ways to improve. Therefore, the pre-cooling of the cold storage was increased, the temperature of the core was reduced, and then loaded into the cold chain car, and the speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour was formulated. These improvements have reduced the strawberry loss rate to less than 20%.

Four degrees of blind and one safety" to ensure quality.

All the way to the cold chain transportation, the strawberries that arrived at the Dongguan warehouse distribution center could not be directly unloaded. Fan Fengfeng, deputy director of the post-harvest R&D center of Baiguoyuan Group, explained that here, the temperature of the strawberry cold chain truck and the temperature of the fruit core should be measured at the first time, and the strawberries should be quickly sampled, and the goods will be unloaded only after they are qualified. The results of the rapid test are generally obtained in half an hour, mainly to "see" and "check", to see the brightness and damage of the fruit surface, and to detect the sugar content of the fruit and pesticide residues.

After the strawberries enter the warehouse distribution center, Fu Xiaodan, director of the post-harvest R&D center of Baiguoyuan Group, is responsible for arranging inspectors to take strawberry samples and then conduct quantitative detection of 193 pesticide residues and heavy metals.

The second test, qualified fruits are allowed to be picked and delivered to the warehouse of Baiguoyuan, and the quality control is carried out for warehousing acceptance and qualitative safety testing, and 29 warehouses and distribution centers of Baiguoyuan are equipped with quality control and rapid inspection rooms. The third pass is that after the fruits are put into the warehouse distribution center, the personnel of the testing center will conduct 100 kinds of quantitative pesticide residue testing on the stored fruits in accordance with the food safety management requirements of Baiguoyuan. In addition, Baiguoyuan has also set up a pathological disease laboratory to cultivate, identify, and prevent pathogenic bacteria of common fruit diseases. "The company will implement 'four degrees, one taste and one safety' for all fruits, that is, a comprehensive test of freshness, sugar acidity, tenderness, crispness, aroma and safety. ”

For fruits that do not meet food safety standards, Hundred Fruit Farm adopts zero tolerance. "Food safety is the bottom line, and if the pre-harvest fruit sample fails to pass the test, the orchard will give up the orchard's fruit;If a problem is detected after warehousing, the batch of fruits will be sealed and fed back to the first merchant for processing. ”
