History After the start of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, in order to cope with the tense situation, the National Military Commission began to set up supplementary training offices in various localities, and set up a general supplementary training office above the supplementary training office. Among them, the general supplementary training office is a military-level establishment, and the supplementary training office under its jurisdiction is adjusted according to needs, and there is no fixed sequence. The Supplementary Training Office is a divisional establishment with several supplementary corps under its jurisdiction, with three battalions per regiment and five companies per battalion, and each regiment also has a cadet company.
According to the "Organizational Measures for the Supplementary Training Division," the Supplementary Training Division is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Military Affairs, and is responsible for the reception, allocation, training, allocation, and health of supplementary troops.
Officers at or above the regimental level in the supplementary training department are directly appointed by the Ministry of Military Affairs, and officers below the rank of warrant officer are recruited by the military and political departments from military academies in various localities and selected after training by the supplementary training department. Soldiers are recruited by the provincial military districts, and those with a level of education join the cadet company that trains sergeants, and after training, they can serve as squad leaders.
Cotton clothing is distributed. Recruits trained in the Supplementary Training Department are waiting to be drafted at any time according to the needs of the war, and the number of recruits varies from year to year. Generally, the front-line troops will receive them, and sometimes when the war is tight, the supplementary training office will directly lead the team to the front. There are also some supplementary training offices with better results, which will be directly reorganized into divisions and become immediate combat forces.
Shooting training. Taking the 31st Supplementary Training Office as an example, before it was abolished, a total of 3 additional troops were sent to the front30,000 people, who made great contributions to the Anti-Japanese War.
