Creation comes from passion, passion comes from confidence", this is my biggest feeling after entering the Fifth National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition. After more than ten years of Xi Shu, he did not dare to say that "the pen is returned to the grave, and the waste paper is 3,000", and it is also a waste of sleep and food, and the pen is not stopped. But every time I cast an exhibition, I became cannon fodder, and I gradually lost confidence. In September 2019, "Calligraphy Daily" went to Yongchun to conduct a calligraphy audition to select my works, and at that time, I was also praised and affirmed by Mr. Zhang Bo of the editorial department of "Calligraphy Daily". At the end of the year, I participated in the "Lanju Cup" calligraphy newspaper and calligraphy audition held by the calligraphy newspaper, and participated in the on-site competition and won the bronze award, which really boosted my confidence to continue to submit.
With confidence comes passion. In July 2020, the 5th National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition issued a call for papers.
The exhibition requires each author to submit a limit of one work. What to write?Regular script, or cursive script?That's something I've been thinking about. The Xiao Wei stele written before was exhibited in the "Chinese Calligraphy Annual Exhibition" National Regular Script Works Exhibition, which is more confident, but there are too many people who write Xiao Wei stele in the country, and it still needs to find another way. By chance, a few book friends were looking at one of my regular script works, and one book friend said, you use Zhao Zhiqian's small line book to make a payment, which is more exciting than ......the textThe speaker has no intention, but the listener has a heart. My eyes lit up, and I decided that the works of the Fifth National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition would be submitted in small characters based on Zhao Zhiqian.

After deciding what genre to write, the next step is to choose the content. "Strong, clumsy, ancient" is the style of writing I have been pursuing, I have been consulting Feng Jianxing's "Twenty-four Books" and Sikong Tu's "Twenty-four Poems", I think the content is to write "Twenty-four Poems", poems are books, to a document is beautiful!
If you want to write a book, you will first scatter your arms, let your feelings be arbitrary, and then you will read it. If you are forced to do something, although the mountain rabbit is not good, it is not good. "The ancients were right that calligraphy is a slow life, a slow pace. Because there is more time, I first visited some of Zhao Zhiqian's calligraphy works, and in order to achieve the humble Gaogu, I also added Suo Jing's "Ode to the Teacher". In the company of classical **, slowly enter the state of selflessness. The "five combinations" mentioned in the "Book Spectrum" have been verified in my creative process, and the ethereal and scattered ...... of "Twenty-four Poems".Flows slowly on the tip of the pen. Creating small-character works, because of the large number of words, can't be done in one go like writing large-character works. I divide my work into several paragraphs, and in order to achieve a fusion of spirit and spirit, I take a break after each fragment. In this way, it took three days to finish the work (pictured). After the selection of the Fifth National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, I was very happy to see my name on the list of public exhibitions.
Confidence, passion, and good condition can lead to good writing. The above is my creative experience from participating in this exhibition.
