Airport Avenue (Baiyun Fifth Line - Airport), located in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, the line starts from Baiyun Fifth Line in the south, where it is connected to the second phase of the Airport Avenue through the underpass tunnel, crosses the North Second Ring Expressway along the planning line to the north, and crosses the Northeast Freight Outer Bypass, continues to cross the Liuxi River to the north, and connects to the planned road, then connects to the Fanghua Highway in the northwest direction, and crosses the Fanghua Highway along the planning line of the Fanghua Highway, 106 National Highway and the Huaguan North and South Auxiliary Road after grounding, and its end point is level crossing with the east extension of Yingbin Avenue. The total length of the whole line is about 98km, urban trunk road, planning width of 60m, two-way 8 lanes (of which the section from the north of the Liuxihe Bridge to Fanghua Highway is affected by land acquisition and demolition, and the width of the red line is controlled at 40m (two-way 8 lanes)), including 1 Liuxihe bridge and 3 interchange nodes.
The third phase of Airport Avenue is a no-fly zone, and drones cannot fly, so they can only shoot close to the ground, and there is no sense of overlooking at the sky, please understand.
In addition to the demolition and relocation of several urban villages in the third phase of Airport Avenue, the construction of the inner section of the village cannot be carried out. The roads outside the village, the high-speed bridge across the North Second Ring Road, and the Liuxi River Bridge have been basically completed, but they have not been opened to traffic. Therefore, this shooting mainly focuses on the section from the north end of the Liuxi River Bridge to the Fanghua Highway.

Airport Avenue will be connected to Fanghua Highway here, and then along Fanghua Highway to the north all the way to the elevated, after crossing National Highway 106.
The southern section of Fanghua Highway has been used as a construction site for Fangbai Intercity (North Extension of Metro Line 22). Airport Avenue temporarily gave way to subway construction.
In the north section of National Highway 106 of Fanghua Highway, both sides of the road have been fenced off for a long time, drainage works and sidewalks have been completed, and there is no obvious progress in other work.
Summary:
1. The Liuxi River Bridge has been closed.
2. The western half of the Xingxian Road section and the southern section are basically completed, the northern section is to be demolished, and the construction of the eastern half is progressing slowly.
3. The demolition progress of the Daxiang Village section and the Yahu Village section is slow.
4. Fangbai Intercity (Metro Line 22 Renhe Station) in the south section of G106 National Highway of Fanghua Highway is occupied by construction, and Airport Avenue is suspended and waiting.
5. The sidewalk in the north widening section of G106 National Highway of Fanghua Highway has been basically completed, and there is no progress on the roadway.
The demolition of Daxiang Village and Yahu Village and the subway line 22 people and stations are important factors restricting the progress of the Airport Avenue project, from the on-site situation, the demolition progress is not optimistic, if the demolition can be completed in 2024, it is optimistic that the Airport Avenue can be opened to the intersection of Fanghua Highway in 2025. The section along Fanghua Highway will not start construction until the main body of the Fangbai Intercity (Metro Line 22) station project is completed, and the opening time is difficult to estimate for the time being.
