Recently, a Shenzhen Airlines A320NEO narrow-body passenger aircraft completed the retrofit and successfully made its first flight. This modification makes the aircraft equipped with a cabin wifi communication system independently developed by China. The installation was completed by China independently, and Brocade Electric Testing (Suzhou) Technology played a key role in the modification and upgrading of the airliner communication system. The successful airworthiness not only demonstrates China's ability in the R&D, application and independent installation of domestic communication systems for large aircraft, but also marks the strength of Brocade Electric Testing (Suzhou) Technology in the fields of electromagnetic compatibility scientific research, design and testing, electromagnetic reinforcement product research and development, and EMC test system R&D and integration. The headquarters of Brocade Electric Testing (Suzhou) Technology has settled in Suzhou Nano City.
Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) issued relevant news, requiring the full implementation of the collaborative application technology of the front and rear cabins of passenger aircraft, which is based on the civil aviation data application of high-throughput broadband Kaku satellite communication system and data transmission technology, which is of great significance in flight operation risk control. The successful application of this technology can help narrow-body passenger aircraft achieve high-speed Internet access and high-throughput satellite in-flight Internet access in the air, so as to provide passengers with in-flight Internet access services and real-time data sharing with the ground.
In August 2023, Brocade Electric Testing (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. Central China Branch officially undertook the commissioning and verification and DO-160G identification test related to the airworthiness certification of the Shenzhen aeronautical communication system, and cooperated with domestic airborne communication system R&D manufacturers and airlines to successfully complete the airworthiness certification. In addition to the basic test work, the company also assisted in the preparation and formulation of the electromagnetic compatibility related design and system test program outline in the process of airworthiness certification, and carried out field EMI verification, waveguide test and T-PED test for the whole machine of the Air Bus A320Neo after the communication system was installed.
With the successful completion of the first flight of this flight, Brocade Electric Measurement has once again further improved its EMC design analysis and aviation airworthiness test identification capabilities in the aviation field, and the company has achieved a new milestone in the civil aviation field. It is reported that Brocade has participated in similar projects many times, and the aircraft involved in these projects have successfully completed their maiden flights. In the future, Brocade will continue to devote itself to the R&D, design capabilities and test work of electromagnetic compatibility and reliability reinforcement compatibility of electronic systems in complex electromagnetic environments, strive to create safe electromagnetic compatibility and reliable systems, and continue to contribute to the cause of localization.
