My Annual Travels During the winter New Year's Day holiday, I chose to escape the crowds in the city and came to Lin'an, Hangzhou. The picturesque scenery and sparsely populated area allowed me to find a sense of tranquility and warmth during the cold winter months. On the first day, I first visited the Lin'an Museum. The gold-brick and red-tiled building itself is full of art, and the three national treasures in the museum are eye-opening. I felt as if I had traveled to the period of the Five Dynasties of Wu Yue Kingdom and felt the cultural charm of that era. Next, I tasted the local specialty, Tianmu hot pot. The food in this traditional stew is authentic and delicious, and it makes me feel a little warm in the cold winter. In the evening, I took a hot bath at Tuankou Onsen and enjoyed a relaxing experience.
The next day, I went to Daming Mountain. Here, I can not only ski in Wansong Ridge, but also enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains, strange peaks and strange rocks, and verdant trees. The fresh air made me feel incredibly comfortable. Finally, I came to Heqiao Ancient Town.
This quiet and cultural heritage town made me feel the charm of Hui architecture in the late Qing Dynasty.
This trip to Lin'an allowed me to find a good place to escape the world during the New Year's Day holiday. If you also want to find a sense of tranquility and warmth in winter, then Lin'an is definitely a good choice.
