As the first training of the GDM project, this training is of great guiding significance for future work, helping to determine gestational diabetes and pregnancy nutrition interventions, realizing the continuous optimization of maternal and infant health services and health protection, and playing an active role in comprehensively safeguarding maternal and infant health.

Among them, Professor Yang Huixia said on the spot, "The problem of maternal nutrition in China has gradually become prominent, among which the professional capacity is insufficient, and the GDM lacks standardized management. Therefore, it is very important to carry out the project of 'Early Intervention and Protecting Mother and Baby' - Standardized Management of Gestational Diabetes and Nutrition Intervention during Pregnancy'. She emphasized that the project has achieved standardized management of gestational diabetes and pregnancy nutrition intervention through the establishment of a project expert group, the establishment of a national guidance center, the development of standardized training and academic exchange activities for GDM, the promotion of nutrition and health science during pregnancy, and the implementation of AI-assisted healthy lifestyle intervention during pregnancy to improve the short- and long-term outcomes of mothers and children.
It is reported that the reprint of "Pregnancy with Diabetes Mellitus: Clinical Practice Guidelines" by the People's Medical Publishing House is expected to be completed in March 2024.
