Case analysis
At about 9 o'clock on October 28, 2023, Changzhou Qiao (pseudonym) saw a person with the nickname "Lily" in a WeChat group called "XX Pollution Communication Neighbor Group" and asked: "Is there anything in the group that can be set up in Huabei?".Or if you know someone else, you can also add me to recommend it, and you will be paid after the deed. Qiao's high school classmate happened to be working on the loan project, so he immediately replied: "How much." Then "Lily" went to Jiaqiao's WeChat.
After adding WeChat, Qiao pushed the business cards of his high school classmates to "Lily". Soon, Qiao received an application from another *** friend of this high school classmate, saying that the old number is no longer used and needs to be contacted with a new number. The same avatar and similar name, so Qiao didn't find out, this is a fake high school classmate!
After Qiao agreed, he asked him for the account, and first transferred a sum of 1 yuan to confirm whether he could receive it, and he said that he had received it, so Qiao also transferred the remaining 29,999 yuan to this account.
Then, on the grounds that there was a problem with the account, this ** asked Qiao to borrow 20,000 or 30,000 turnovers, but Qiao did not agree at first. But ** promised to give Qiao a part of the introduction fee as a thank you, and after some ideological struggle, Qiao promised him to borrow another 14,000 yuan.
The other party gave Qiao two accounts, and Qiao transferred a sum of 10,000 yuan and a sum of 4,000 yuan to two different accounts.
But the more Qiao thought about it afterwards, the more he felt that something was wrong, and after finding the high school classmate to confirm in person, he found that he didn't know about it at all, and Qiao realized that he had been deceived, so he called the police.

1. When you receive an invitation from a friend who claims to be a unit leader, teacher, classmate, relative or friend, you must be vigilant, do not rush through, and be cautious when facing strange calls and emails.
2. When the so-called "acquaintance" makes a request for money exchange, be sure to verify it with the party in person or **, do not rely only on SMS, WeChat, voice and other methods to screen, and do not believe the so-called "transfer screenshot".
