Sweet and sour radish is a delicious home-cooked dish that is relatively simple to pickle. Here are the detailed steps of a sweet and sour radish pickling method:

Ingredients: White radish: 1 piece (about 300 grams).

Light soy sauce: 2 scoops.

Ginger vinegar: 2 tablespoons.

Sugar: 6 grams.

Salt: 10 grams.

Pickling steps:1Prepare the white radish, wash it, peel it, and divide it into four portions with a knife in the middle, one horizontally and vertically. Press the radish with one hand and cut the radish diagonally with the other hand, cut the radish into thin slices and put it in a pot for later use.

2.Put the sliced white radish in a bowl, add an appropriate amount of salt and marinate for 20 minutes. Salt has an osmotic effect, and when the white radish comes out of the water, it will also absorb the salt, which is more flavorful.

3.Once the radish has been marinated, squeeze it by hand and put it in another bowl for later use.

4.Prepare a seasoning plate, pour in light soy sauce, ginger vinegar and sugar, stir well, and mix into a sauce.

5.Put the pickled radish slices into the seasoned sauce and marinate for 24 hours before serving.

After the above steps, the sweet and sour radish is pickled. This dish has a sour and crunchy texture and is a great appetizer. It is perfect whether it is served with porridge and steamed buns in the morning or as an accompaniment to snacks in the evening.
