On December 22, the Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the list of the fourth batch of comprehensive renovation projects of old communities in 2023, with a total of 78 projects included in the renovation plan, involving 300 renovated buildings, 20,000 residents, and a renovated construction area of 1.44 million square meters. Among them, 11 projects in Shijingshan were included in the transformation plan.
This year, the fourth batch of old community comprehensive renovation projects involve Dongcheng, Xicheng, Fengtai, Shijingshan, Mentougou, Daxing, Fangshan, Tongzhou, Pinggu 9 districts, the project renovation content is determined according to the willingness of residents in the community, mainly including the reconstruction of dangerous old buildings, seismic and energy-saving comprehensive transformation, energy-saving comprehensive transformation, single transformation and environmental improvement and other aspects.
Up to now, in 2023, 355 new projects will be started and 183 will be newly completed, and the tasks of this year's new construction and new completion have been completed.
