Career change, PMP helped me to the next level.
My career is divided into three segments, the first is the ** industry, working as a reporter and host in some programs on CCTV and provincial stations; The second section is the Internet and technology industry, which is engaged in organizational development, cadre management and other related work in leading Internet technology companies such as AlibabaThe third stage is the financial industry, where the VC institution leads the post-investment management team to accompany the investee companies and provide value-added services for the investee companies in terms of strategy, governance structure, and organizational talents.
During the transformation of service technology unicorn enterprises, in order to meet the new round of capital acceptance and IPO preparation, I need to transform my personal role from a solution expert to a project delivery expertHowever, I hope to systematically sort out the knowledge structure of project management to improve efficiency and respond to work more rigorously and logically. So I decided to learn PMP and form my own project management knowledge.
The workload in the change phase is so heavy that it is difficult to devote yourself to preparing for the exam in just three months. Given my time constraints, I wanted to choose an institution that would be able to systematically improve my project management skills and potentially pass the exam to obtain a certificate.
Out of many options, I finally decided to choose Qinghui. I was impressed by the impression that Clearlight is an institution that provides high-quality project management training, focusing on the combination of theory and practice, which can help me better understand and apply the knowledge of project management. In addition, Qinghui is a warm institution, not only a training institution that pays money for training and ends the transaction relationship after the certificate, but also grows with you like an old friend.
After learning PMP, some of the tools used in the work can help clarify ideas and standardize responsibilities and rights. For example, the RACI matrix, in the enterprise, especially for the position of internal control or corporate governance, is not only the role of the project manager, but also the role of internal experts, consultants, etc., which makes it easy to control the division of labor and the rhythm of the project, so that you can get deeply involved in one thing at once, and the RACI matrix can ensure that when the multiple roles of being both the project manager and the person responsible for module delivery are mixed, they can still sort out the boundaries of each other's responsibilities and rights together.
Keep learning and keep improving, so as to adapt to change.
In the process of preparing for the exam and studying for the MBA, the biggest challenge I faced was the heavy workload, and the biggest challenge was to balance the energy between personal work and academics, and finding the right way for me became the most important. To overcome this challenge, I adopted an effective time management strategy, prioritizing the most urgent tasks at work, and setting dedicated study periods to ensure adequate revision and preparation for exams.
Returning to campus made me feel the difficulty of being one with action. While what I have learned has been beneficial to my work, more importantly, returning to school has given me a deep understanding of practical experience. Through theoretical learning, I have a clearer understanding of the logic behind practical experience, a deeper understanding of the problems and challenges at work, and a more confident and confident way to deal with various situations in my career development.
For project managers, I think the most important competency is sensitivity to the environment and people. In a rapidly changing market environment, the project manager plays the role of a market holder, and needs to flexibly deploy and control the pace of the overall project. In the face of future changes, project managers should maintain sensitivity to new trends, constantly update their knowledge reserves, and cultivate the team's ability to adapt to changes. Promoting the development and progress of society requires project managers to have advanced insight and an open mind to innovation, and to lead the team to actively adapt to emerging technologies and market needs.
One of my favorite words is:"Life is insight, not life, keep being curious, and don't set limits on yourself. ”This quote sparked my passion for continuous learning and exploration. In my professional experience, I have found that those who succeed tend to be people who remain curious and constantly pursue new knowledge and experiences. For my previous HR work, this sentence is even more profoundIn an ever-changing workplace, having an open mind and a positive attitude towards learning is key to achieving personal growth.
The essence of life is a journey, and I hope that all you and I who meet Qinghui can grow together and meet in the future.
