On the afternoon of December 11, 2023, the "3rd Silk Road Art Collection: Sino-European Women Artists Joint Exhibition" hosted by Beijing Yingjie Hard Rock Art Museum was grandly opened at Olga Art Museum. This exhibition is co-curated by Professor Sun Yumin, Professor of the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, Director of the Institute of Chinese Gongbi Painting, President of the International Federation of Women Artists (China), and Ms. Li Chao, Director of the Olga Art Museum, and Laura Barbarini, President of the International Federation of Women Artists, as the artistic director. Li Yingjie, Director of Beijing Yingjie Hard Rock Art Museum, Shan Wei, Director of the International Cultural Exchange and Research Center of the China National Innovation and Development Strategy Research Association, Wang Fuguo, former Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Florence, Qiao Yinan, Deputy Director of the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Wang Lei, Vice President of the Beijing Association for the Promotion of Chinese Culture, Laura Barbarini, President of the International Federation of Women Artists, Wang Shengwen, President of the Italian Chinese Artists Association, Justin Zhang, Vice Chairman of the Association of Chinese Artists in Italy, attended the opening ceremony and wished the exhibition a complete success.

The curator is Professor Sun Yumin, Professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, Director of the Institute of Chinese Gongbi Painting, and President of the International Federation of Women Artists (China).
In her speech, Professor Sun Yumin said: "Silk Road Art - Chinese and European Women Artists Joint Exhibition" has been held for two years, and more than 70 Chinese and European women artists have participated in the exhibition. Nearly 50 Chinese and European women artists were invited to participate in the third exhibition, and more than 100 Chinese and European women artists have participated in the exchange activities. Through the exchange and exhibition, the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and European women artists have been promoted, mutual understanding and friendship have been promoted, and the exchange and mutual learning and development of Silk Road culture and art have been promoted. Women have always played an important role in the cultural development of mankind and the reproduction of mankind. From the ancient Silk Road economic, cultural and artistic exchanges to the modern Silk Road economic, cultural and artistic exchanges, they are all indispensable participants. Women use tenacious will, intelligent intelligence, and extensive love to create women's unique art, to express women's attitude towards life, love for life, yearning for peace, and pursuit of beauty. In these works full of beautiful artistic conception, it is the evolution of the cultivation of human nature and the improvement of the spirit. We will continue to hold exhibitions and exchange activities, and make due efforts for cultural exchanges on the Silk Road. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the holding of the 3rd Silk Road Art Collection-Sino-European Women Artists Joint Exhibition is also of special significance.
The exhibition exhibits various forms of artworks such as Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. This exhibition brings together the works of many outstanding Chinese and foreign female artists, and when European and Chinese contemporary art meet, different artistic languages, art forms, and cultural backgrounds are destined to be extraordinary, cross-regional, and in-depth art exchange festivals.
