Today (December 27), China's largest single floating photovoltaic power station, the floating photovoltaic power station on the surface of the wind and photovoltaic base in the south of Fuyang, Anhui Province, achieved full capacity grid connection, which is of great significance for building a water ecosystem with self-regulating ability and promoting the transformation of the energy structure of the Yangtze River Delta.
CCTV reporter Zhang Wei: In Fuyang, Anhui Province, China's largest single floating photovoltaic power station has 1.2 million photovoltaic modules, an area equivalent to the size of 1,300 standard football fields. At the same time, it is also the floating photovoltaic power station with the largest idle water surface in the comprehensive utilization of coal mining subsidence area in China.
The grid-connected photovoltaic power station is built on the water area formed by 13,000 acres of coal mining subsidence area, with a capacity of 650,000 kilowatts, composed of 122 super-large photovoltaic matrices, with an average annual power generation of about 700 million kilowatt hours, which can save about 220,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 580,000 tons per year.
Hu Lechao, Project Manager of the Eastern Construction Management Department of Three Gorges Energy: We use the idle water surface in the coal mining subsidence area to build a floating photovoltaic power station, which can save land resources, and at the same time take advantage of the characteristics of good heat dissipation on the water surface to effectively improve the power generation efficiency, and the daily power generation can meet the daily electricity demand of 700,000 people.
It is understood that the floating photovoltaic power station can also cover the water surface through the reasonable layout of photovoltaic modules, reduce evaporation, inhibit the excessive growth of algae in the water, complete water purification, and protect the ecological environment. In the next step, the power station will develop fishery aquaculture on the basis of conventional power generation and combine the "fishery and photovoltaic complementation" model to realize the transformation of the water environment.
