Magneti Marelli, a leading mobility technology provider in the automotive industry, will showcase its most innovative products at the 2024 CES at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas from January 9 to 11, 2024. Through curated experiences, Magneti Marelli will demonstrate the approach to design-led innovation.

Invited guests will take part in a bespoke tour to learn more about the various stages of vehicle co-creation. In the first step, guests will enter the digital twin studio and answer some questions about driving preferences, generating data that matches their driving personalization. The functions generated from this data will be demonstrated in a demonstration vehicle later in the journey. Guests will also learn about Magneti Marelli's digital twin technology.

In the "Co-Create@Speed" area, guests will gain a deeper understanding of Magneti Marelli's value proposition through software-defined vehicles and interact with technologies powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), QNX and Qualcomm. They will learn about Magneti Marelli's technologies that support architecture scalability, software portability, standardization of domain control and cloud virtualization. Visitors will also be able to interact with Magneti Marelli's digital twin demonstrator, which simulates the generation of vehicle cockpits in the cloud.

After visiting the digital twin studio and the "Co-Create@Speed" area, guests were able to sit in the driver's seat of one of the demonstration vehicles. In this session, the digital twin studio's personalization based on guest driving will be activated. Guests will be able to interact with their personalized 3D avatars and experience Magneti Marelli's award-winning A-pillar-to-A-pillar "Black Mirror" displays, ambient lighting, smart surfaces, driver monitoring and human-machine interface technology. Extremely narrow modules and light guide technology are also integrated into the front of the vehicle.

Magneti Marelli will also be showcasing lighting and display technology in the field of "Design for Affordability". These solutions are designed with simplified hardware and software – fewer parts, lighter weight, lower CO2 emissions and lower costs than traditional lighting and display products. These designs are achieved through technology optimization, a manufacturing-oriented design approach, and chain localization.

Technologies related to vehicle performance will be showcased in the Performance Design Zone, including Magneti Marelli's fully active electromechanical suspension system, domain control unit, integrated thermal management module and wireless battery management system powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

The future of mobility will be unveiled in the "Lay for the Future" zone, which will give us a glimpse into the next phase of Magneti Marelli's design – an AI-powered in-car experience – with advanced audio and sound zoning, electric hidden displays and interior components, console projections, eco-friendly materials, multimodal interactions, high-definition headlamps with floor projection, multi-coloured illuminated front panels and grilles, exterior information displays, rear window projections, and more.

D**id Slump, President and CEO of Magneti Marelli, said: "We are delighted to share our vision for software-defined vehicles at CES in January, and to show how we are putting the power of personalization in the hands of car manufacturers and car owners. Our focus on design-led innovation, combined with our close relationships with AWS, QNX and Qualcomm, enables us to create comprehensive solutions for our customers at the speed of Marelli. ”
