Sanlin TownEvergreen Garden
Sanlin Town Changqing Park is located on the south bank of the Chuanyang River, between Changqing Road and Xiying South Road, close to the Qiantan area.
In recent years, various healthy life elements have been added to the green space within the town of Sanlin Town, and Evergreen Garden is a typical representative of it. After the renovation, this green space has taken "health" as the theme of the construction, and now it has become a new landmark for nearby residents to exercise and fitness.
The total design area of Evergreen Garden is 29,315 square meters, of which the green area is about 5,000 square meters, and there are as many as 35 green varieties, covering beauty tea, safflower stepwood, hairy juan, Oriental red southern bamboo, small-leaved gardenia, ** Buddha beetle grass and other varieties.
The original water system is retained in the park, and various aquatic plants such as lotus and water lilies are planted, and after the reconstruction, cherry blossoms, rhododendrons, lilies, orchids and other flowering and color-leaved plants are planted in addition to the original trees in the green space, adding color to the green space.
During the renovation process, the original stone archway and pavilion of Changqingfang were retained in the park, and new water platforms, wooden bridges, fitness trails, various fitness and amusement facilities, leisure benches, etc., were built to provide residents with fitness and resting places. In addition, the old cement railings have all been replaced with stainless steel railings, and the temporary flood control channel has also been renovated, and the original old roadbed has been renovated into a colored asphalt trail, which has eliminated potential safety hazards while improving the landscape effect.
Gaodong TownSakura Garden
Gaodong Cherry Blossom Garden is located in Gaodong Town, starting from the green belt of Hangjin Road in the north, Gaoqiao Port (Outer Ring Canal) in the west, Guangyao Road in the east, and connecting with Zhouhai Road in the south, which is a narrow green space featuring planting cherry blossoms, about 2,000 meters long and more than 30 meters wide, covering a total area of about 70,000 square meters.
The cherry blossom garden takes a cherry blossom avenue as the main road, and three leisure squares - Gaodong New Road Square, Guangcan Road Square, and Gaodong Second Road Square are interspersed from north to south, and there are fitness trails along the river, and the whole park is planted with cherry blossom trees, which is a good place for fitness cherry blossom appreciation. There are many rest facilities in the park, including benches and two cafes.
Sakura Garden was built in response to the goal of "Cherry Blossom Town" in Gaodong Town, and is committed to creating a comfortable and livable environment for residents. Today, Gaodong has a cherry blossom corridor of more than 2,000 meters, with early cherry blossoms planted in the southern section and late cherry blossoms in the northern section, with a total of more than 10,000 cherry blossoms.
Since the establishment of the cherry blossom garden, Gaodong Town has held a cherry blossom festival in March and April every year to carry out various cultural activities related to cherry blossoms, which not only enriches the spare time life of surrounding residents, but also attracts tourists from all walks of life.
Tips for cherry blossom viewing
Late cherry blossom viewing area:It is located between Hangjin Road and Guangcan Road, 1400 meters long, mainly planting late cherry blossoms "Guanshan";
Early cherry blossom viewing area:It is located between Guangchan Road and Zhouhai Road, with a total length of 1,000 meters, and is mainly planted with early cherry blossoms "Somei Yoshino".
Other varieties:There are a little dots throughout the park, such as Oshima cherry blossoms, tulip, orchid, pine moon, rain branches, royal clothes yellow, cold scarlet cherry blossoms, etc.
Sakura King:The two early cherry trees planted in Gaodong Xinlu Square have a ground diameter of more than 30 centimeters, and the canopy diameter and height are also about 6 meters.
