Hydebond's path to digital transformation

Recently,Mr. Shi, Technical Director and CTO of HaidebangVisiting Walltech's headquarters office in Shanghai, we had an in-depth interaction with the WallTech team, sharing the latest developments in innovative technologies in the industry, potential cooperation opportunities, and digital work experience.

Mr. Shi (second from right) took a group photo with Walltech executives.

We are honored to invite Mr. Shi to share Haidebang's experience and exploration in the field of digital transformation of high-end chains.

The transcript of the conversation is summarized below

Walltech: Before the digital transformation, how did Hydebond control and manage the global ** chain? Are there any pain points or room for improvement?

Mr. Shi:At present, the entry threshold of the traditional freight forwarding industry is low, and there is a lack of technical barriers and competitive advantages. The lack of moats and limited added value of technology in this industry make it a huge room for improvement.

Engaged in HydbergCore manufacturing industry chain managementOver the course of 20 years, we have found that there is a lot of uncertainty in several parts of the delivery process from overseas ** to domestic delivery. In the field of high-end manufacturing, our customers are right:The traceability of goods and the control of the whole link of the first chainVery high demands were made.

In many logistics links, information is not interconnected and processes cannot be connected. At the operational level, it is difficult to grasp the information in real time, and there is a lack of effective monitoring tools.

Therefore, in such an environment, Hydebond must adopt a new way to differentiate itself from its peers with the help of a digital strategy.

Walltech: What are the main aspects that Hydbelt will consider in the selection of the system? Can you share a few tips for companies that are also preparing for digital transformation?

Mr. Shi:During our investigation, we were looking for a system that met our needs, including GoFreight, CargoWise, and Walltech's Cargoware in China. After a careful investigation, we found that in the countryMeet the national conditions, compliantAutonomous safety requirementsto fully meet our increasingly demanding needsManagement requirementsto respond quickly to our changing needsIterate quicklyand make it possible for us to be effectiveManage control risksThere is only one cargoware.

Xi'an Hydebang Shi Zong and Walltech together with the new plan for the digital development of chain logistics in 2024.

One of the important factors is:The contradiction between standardized products and non-standard business. The standardized system is not friendly enough for innovative enterprises like us and explorers in the field of chain management. Our management model and business processes have been rapidly optimized, and we are still in the stage of continuous exploration and standardization. Therefore, an overly cured system is not suitable for our needs.

Although the CargoWare system is also a standard product, the system itself is more functionalThousands of built-in flexible interfaces and function configuration pointsto support usMassive customization. Coupled with the assistance of some personalized function development, it gave us a very suitable and perfect support.

It was difficult to reinvent many aspects of the digital process on other systems, and Cargoware provided us with quick feedback and solutions through full communication in the early days of the go-live, and helped us successfully complete this series of difficult changes.

Walltech: How did Hydebond build its IT strategy and what progress has it made after the digital transformation?

Mr. Shi:Hydebond's IT strategy must be completed in accordance with the Group's actual needs and future development strategies for the whole chain business from a global perspectiveBusiness flow, logistics, information flow and capital flow in all links of the whole chainAn open platform that covers the whole node, is visualized throughout the process, and is shared by multiple parties.

In the process of digital transformation, with the help of Cargoware's targeted solutions and continuous and rapid iteration services, Hydebond has successfully achieved most of the goals of digital communication in the whole chain management from a global perspective.

Through digital transformation, Hydebond's internal management capabilities and management efficiency have also made a qualitative leap, and a series of internal management process reforms and business quantitative capabilities have been completed. Due to Haidebang's demand for data-driven, data-driven decision-making and management reform, digital transformation involves the adjustment of the group's organizational structure, business process remodeling, integration of industry, finance and taxation, performance appraisal management, budget cost control, and employee job function division and other all-round changes, which is equivalent to a process of rebirthBusiness changes include sales model construction, customer and business management, contract execution traceability, system construction, risk control, etc.

Walltech: What else can we expect from us?

Mr. Shi:At present, Cargoware has mostly met the control, risk control and process management needs of important logistics information nodes in our whole chain, and we look forward to Walltech being able to continue to provide more digital support and technical guidance for innovative enterprises like us."

In the future, we hope to cooperate with Walltech not only in the CargoWare product line, but also in other areas, such as ETower (cross-border e-commerce logistics cloud service software), another product line under Walltech. As we continue to expand our business boundaries, we will gradually build business cooperation and ecological cooperation in more business areas. We look forward to the continuous support provided by Walltech's extensive product line.

With the turbulence of the global situation, the international logistics industry is facing major changes unseen in a century, and the demand for overseas expansion of enterprises and the basic demand for domestic and foreign links are growingOverseas business management, channel distribution and expansionWe will deepen our cooperation with Cargoware.

In addition, so is HydebondThe comprehensive service model of the first chain in the manufacturing industry agglomeration areaTherefore, we look forward to working with Cargoware to carry out more ecological joint co-construction and sharing work on the future **chain integrated service platform.
