From designer to entrepreneur, it is not accidental but inevitable
Before founding ego, Xiaoya has a wealth of experience. She graduated from ESMOD International Fashion Design Institute in France, and has designed works such as "White" and "Oneday". In 2007, she entered the apparel industry, starting from the grassroots level, and worked through sales, merchandising, store manager and other positions, which became the cornerstone of her career as a fashion designer.
In 2016, Xiaoya returned to China with rich design experience and worked hard to expand business channels, including boutiques, commercial stores and live broadcast industries. And establish stable cooperative relations with many designer studios to obtain more industry information. These experiences also laid a solid foundation for her to become an excellent entrepreneur in the future.
In Xiaoya's view, it is not accidental but inevitable that she will become the founder of the ego brand. "I have been working in the apparel industry for 16 years since I graduated, during which I have achieved a lot of achievements, and at the same time, I have encountered career bottlenecks, which also made me start to look for new development opportunities. Xiaoya recalled that at that time, more and more "designer brands" gradually entered the public's field of vision, "I think I should seize this opportunity." ”
With the determination to start a business, Xiaoya came to Taiyuan, Shanxi Province with a dream and all her savings, and began her entrepreneurial journey.
There is no smooth sailing in entrepreneurship, only persistence in not admitting defeat
China's ** market is fiercely competitive, there are many local brands and international brands in the market, how can a newly established company survive?
I thought I was ready to start my own business, but reality hit me with a hammer. Talking about the early days of the business, Xiaoya said that the biggest problem she faced at that time was the lack of customers, "At that time, I thought that as long as the store was opened, there would be a steady stream of customers." But one thing I overlooked was that we were just a 'nobody'. ”
In order to survive, businesses need to be profitable. Therefore, it is better to take the initiative to wait for customers to come to the door. "We have almost traveled to all major clothing markets across the country, and we have also visited many designer studios and clothing brands, and the popularity of the industry depends on us. After that, through online posting, live broadcast, etc., more consumers will know about us. ”
Through 3 months of hard work, Xiaoya and her team have realized the transformation from no customers to customers, and customers take the initiative to find the door. Today, ego has grown from a small store with only 10 employees to a company with more than 300 employees. At present, more than 100 stores have been opened in China, and the trend of store expansion is still growing.
From the "fashion capital" of France, Xiaoya only wants to do a good job in every piece of clothing and serve every customer with heart. With her rich work experience and passion for creation, she strictly controls the quality of her products and insists on designing more high-level and high-quality clothing.
