Arctic Blue challenges the Jordan Legacy 312

Inspired by Don C and developed with his help, Jordan's Legacy 312 combines Michael Jordan's first three signature sneakers to bridge the gap between vintage performance and modern style. Since 2018, hybrid design has been part of the Jordan brand offerings, breathing new life into the legacy of the 1980s.

As the season approaches, the fusion silhouette emerges in a seasonally appropriate 'white arctic blue' colour scheme. While not modified for cold, wet environments (for that, take a look at the Air Jordan 5 "Archaeo Brown"), this shoe puts this season's color palette into the form of sneakers. Leather sets the stage for the hybrid material, presenting a "colorless" base and a light blue contrast around the forefoot, tongue and heel. The contour hook and locking strap on the upper also incorporate "arctic blue" elements, similar to the new addition to the Nike Sportswear lineup. The elephant print, ported from the Air Jordan 3, ditches its signature "cement grey" look in favour of a winter makeover of its surroundings.

At the feet, the color story remains the same, so that the look of Jordan Legacy 312 is sure to be a hit with its target audience: children. The midsole is arranged in a two-tone arrangement, and the components above the visible air cushion take on a blue reminiscent of the sky. The outsole, designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1988, completes the light color scheme with an ice-cool, translucent makeover.
