Wen Zhang Fan.
Shuyang, Jiangsu Province, is my hometown, I studied and Xi worked in Miaotou Middle School in Shuyang, I have been away from Shuyang for nearly 30 years, and every time I return to Shuyang from other places, I feel very cordial. Although things are different from people, and the complex of my hometown has not changed, when I think of my hometown, I will feel nervous and complicated. The reason for the nervousness and complexity is that I have left my hometown for so many years, and I have not made a look in the pursuit of painting art, which can be described as a shameless sight of my hometown fathers, and Shuyang is the hometown of Chinese calligraphy, with many masters and influence. In my hometown of Shuyang, there are many winners of the Shufang Pavilion Award, as well as many female painters, and there are also many Sino-American associations, some of whom are still my students. In the past few years, I always want to communicate with them and talk about the people and things I have encountered in the past 30 years. In the past 30 years, it is hard to say, and there is joy in the Tao, which can be described as "all the way to the hard work and all the way to the song", more than 30 years of painting a lot of works, and there have been many solo exhibitions all over the country.
In December 2023, I am going to return to Shuyang Cunzhentang Art Museum to hold a small solo exhibition, and it is also the first time to go back to my hometown to hold an exhibition. In order to make up for the shortcomings of the insufficient and incomplete number of exhibitions, I briefly gave a brief supplementary explanation of my pursuits, ideas and ideas in the art of painting in the past 30 years.
In 2001, at the end of my Xi at Nanjing University of the Arts, I began to organize my creations and hold exhibitions, and on May 29 of that year, my solo exhibition opened at the Jiangsu Art Museum.
To this day, my creation is roughly divided into the following stages:
The first is the Tao of nature, and the art of the Tao.
The second is to seek teachers and seek Taoism, adjust the mind and cultivate oneself.
The third is to return to the truth with the heart and the same dust with the light.
Fourth, the moon writes plum blossoms, and the painting is painting me.
In 2004, in Nanjing Museum, I held the "Art of Taoism, Taoism and Nature - Zhang Fan's Chinese Painting Exhibition".
Next, in 2005, I held my second solo exhibition at the Jiangsu Art Museum in 2005
In 2007, I walked into the Jiangsu Art Museum for the third time and jointly organized the "Leading Chinese Art - Fan Yang, Liang Zhanyan, Zhang Fan, Fan Zhibin Chinese Painting Exhibition" with Fan Yang, Liang Zhanyan, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Painting of the China National Academy of Painting, and Liang Zhanyan.Xi
In the same year, he went to Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui Province to meet Master Yin Gang, and then asked Jiuhua many times, followed Master Yin Gang, and recited the eighty-one volumes of "Dafang Guang Buddha Huayan Sutra" in full, and in 2016, he participated in the writing part of Master Yin Gang's photography exhibition.
Before 2010, my creative fulcrum was to focus on Taoist philosophy, "with its light, with its dust", not seeking glory, mixing with the world, emphasizing the function of calligraphy and painting artworks, I think, Chinese painting, he is not only a good-looking painting, but also a helping person, the hand of the moon, with such a concept created works in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Jinan, Yantai, Qingdao, Weifang, Tai'an, Laiwu, Laiyang, Urumqi, Xinjiang, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Lanzhou City, ** City, Pingliang City, Langnan, Langxi, Qingyang, Wuwei, Jinchang, Zhangye, Tianshui, Wudu, Liaohuang, Lintao, Lingtai, Qinxian, Qinchuan, Lixian, Zhuanglang, Jingyuan, Jingning, Chengxian, Linxia Hui Autonomous County held the "Zhang Fan Painting Exhibition";
Writing plum blossoms in the month, painting in the painting of me" stage, I was introduced from Beijing to Suqian Painting Institute, fate, I and the guqin affinity, and fascinated by the Buddhist classics, reading the scriptures and listening to the piano, I experienced the great beauty of "the heart is clear and smells the wonderful fragrance", realized the "thousand rivers have water and thousands of rivers and moons" of the fun, and the master of Yin Gang gave me the name "Miao Ying", so far, my painting has changed, I write plum blossoms, the wind shakes the bamboo shadow, the moon prints a thousand rivers, and the plum is now Vientiane. In November 2018, the "Zhang Fan Painting Exhibition" was held at the Suqian Museum, and he was encouraged by his mentor Mr. Gao Yun.
I think the painting refers to the hand of the moon, and the moon also shines on the plum blossoms. My plum blossom series works, try my best to pursue the ancient meaning, while emphasizing the self, poetry and Zen, to paint meditation, of course, the road of exploration is still very long, inseparable from the care and support of the name.
