Nickolas Gurtler's co-working space with LBD Studios, a creative and branding company, is based in Melbourne's Malvern, where the interior design is designed by Nickolas Gurtler, who embodies his dedication to simplicity and sophistication.
The Nickolas Gurtler Office is located in a historic building, the original walls were made of red and brown bricks, and since the designer preferred crisp neutrals, it was painted white on both the exterior and the inside. In the reception area, there is a Repose sofa designed by OKHA, a coffee table in antique stained walnut, a hand-carved chair by Liam Mug**in, and a table lamp designed by Volker Haug.
This co-working office embodies not only the style of Nickolas Gurtler, but also the preferences of LBD Studios, where the designers have perfectly blended the tonality of the two brands.
Inside, the studio features oak herringbone flooring and a combination of calming beige tones and metal accents to create a flexible backdrop to the space. In addition to this, the designers used different materials to fill the interior, such as linen, cork, primary aluminum, and black stained oak. While these materials are all natural, they are all carved and handcrafted to create items that are both chic and aesthetically pleasing.
Nickolas Gurtler harmoniously combines the work of international designers with the work of Australian artisans and manufacturers, a perfect blend of natural materials and handmade techniques.
The office space emphasizes simplicity and ability, using beige as the main color and embellishing with cork, brass, black steel and walnut, which is simple and textured. The Pierre Jeanneret chair and the &Tradition Flowerpot table lamp complement each other to provide a good working experience for employees.

Nickolas Gurtler's new home, located in an apartment in Richmond, Melbourne, is a very small apartment, but the layout, planning and décor contain the designer's unique sense of space and beautiful design language.
The designer's unmistakable aesthetic is evident in every inch of the apartment, where lighting and natural stone are transformed into jewelry, reflecting the balance between refined materials and iconic pieces, and a fusion of opulence and restrained European minimalism.
The designers made efficient use of space with precisely scaled built-in joinery and left a "negative distance" around the furniture to make the layout more compact. The living space is equipped with grazia &coAgent 86 sofa, Oluce Atoll lamp and 1stdibs of vintage Emperador marble coffee table.
Nickolas Gurtler spares in the use of luxurious materials and finishes at home, blending a variety of textures, striking colours and paired combinations. Marble, brass and velvet are complemented by earthy tones and elements that are not only cosy and warm, but also rich in layering.
In the apartment, all items have been carefully selected by the designer and have a personal meaning. In particular, Christopher Boots' Prometheus IV lamp was custom-made by Nickolas Gurtler for his 30th birthday.

The kitchen space continues the overall style on the basis of simplicity, with neon and plexiglass artwork by Tom Adair and neo lantern designed by Apparatus Studio, each item speaks to the designer's unique aesthetic and personal color.
The bedroom is a warm and cosy blend of the warmth and softness of home, with an Arachne four-poster bed by Nickolas Gurtler and a vintage brass table lamp by Lost Profile Studio. Nickolas Gurtler's design pen gives every part of the home a sense of art to life, blending simplicity and complexity to build a haven of life.
