The adhesion of acrylic paint is very strong, but it is not impossible to remove.
If the acrylic paint on clothing or other items has not yet dried, especially if it has just dripped on, you can quickly scrub it with water, then rub it with soap, laundry detergent or laundry detergent or dip it in a brush, and finally wash it off with water. If soap and laundry detergent are not on hand, disinfectant medical alcohol and high-strength liquor can also be used to soak or spray the stain and then rub it to wash off the acrylic paint.
Acrylic paint is water-soluble, but it is not completely dissolved by water. Here are some of the methods you can use to clean your acrylic paint:
1.Liquor or medical alcohol: Soak your clothes in liquor or medical alcohol and gently rub them to wash off the pigment. It should be noted that the water temperature is preferably 30-50 degrees when using this method.
2.Laundry detergent and vinegar: Soak in warm water for about 2 hours, then wash with laundry detergent.
3.Gasoline or alcohol: Acrylic paints can be dissolved in gasoline or alcohol. Soak the garment in these liquids and gently rub it to wash the pigment off. Please wear a mask when using this method to prevent inhalation of toxic gases.
4.Oxidizing detergent: Soak the laundry in a detergent containing an oxidizing agent and wash it off with clean water.
No matter what method you use to clean acrylic paint, you need to take care to protect your eyes and avoid contact with them. In addition, if the acrylic paint has dried, it should only be cleaned with industrial alcohol or acetone. After the acrylic paint dries, it will have the properties of rubber and plastic skin, and it is more difficult to remove it. If you accidentally get on your clothes, try to wash them off as soon as possible before drying. If it has been dried, it may not be completely cleaned. Therefore, when using acrylic paint, you must be careful to avoid staining it on clothing or other items.
