According to reports, the project aims to solve the problem of pedestrians crossing the street on both sides of the Shiting intersection of Hubin North Road. The total span of the flyover is about 34 meters, the main girder body is made of welded steel box girder of equal section, and the lower pier column is made of V-shaped pier. The overpass deck includes reinforcing beams and railings, and the vertical green belt is 4 in width65 meters, clear width 34 meters, 1 ladder is set on the north and south sides, and the total width of the ladder is 34 meters.
The reporter learned that there was originally an overpass at the intersection, which was demolished due to the construction of Metro Line 2. About 300 meters away from the intersection, there is an underground passage for the subway station, but due to the dense density of surrounding institutions, schools, residential areas, office buildings, etc., there is a large demand for pedestrian crossings.
