Write for love- Self-preface to "There is a River Living in My Heart".
Liu Hongchun. In October 2020, recommended by the Xiangxi Prefecture Federation of Literary and Art Circles, I was fortunate to get the opportunity to study at the First School of Literature. When I carried a heavy suitcase and traveled from Xiangxi to Changsha, the provincial capital, I had a lot of thoughts.
This is the path I have been waiting for for a long time to reach the temple of literature. I didn't have a smooth walk on this road. Lack of talent and mediocre qualifications made my growth difficult and tortuous, and I encountered too much hardship and helplessness. But what does it matter?Literature makes me so happy, so fulfilled and satisfied. Being able to embark on this path has been my dream for many years, and it is also an important meaning of my life. Thinking of this, my eyes moistened, life is so difficult, only literature can comfort the soul.
The noisy sounds in the carriage and the chaotic crowd have become an illusory background. My eyes were the scenery speeding by outside the window, but my heart was filled with unparalleled joy. The fast-moving train carried me and my dreams at a speed of more than 200 kilometers per hour to our destination, to the temple of literature that fascinated me.
The speeding train, like the speeding life, has no time to make any hesitation and pause. The goal is set, and there is no turning back. This love and dedication to literature brought tears to my eyes at the age of 49.
Liu Hongchun took a group photo with the famous writer Peng Xueming during his study in Changsha.
I was a late starter in my literary work. In 2015, with the encouragement of a friend, I started trying to write;Three years later, I got a touch from an old-timer, and I started to read it in a planned wayThen in 2020, I got the opportunity to go to the Faculty of Arts to study literary creation, and I felt the charm of literature more and more clearly. Writing has given me an extraordinary meaning in my ordinary life. Time is like flowing water, taking away youth and taking away a lot of beautiful things, but it can't take away words. In the text, in addition to recreating childhood, preserving youth, but also retaining many good memories.
Wandering among the words, I feel warm, comforted, fulfilled, and happy. Whenever I finish a satisfying piece of work, I will be secretly surprised that my ordinary self has a little talent. The kind of joy and self-satisfaction that I dare not talk to others intoxicated me. When I tasted the taste of literature like a little girl who avoided her friends and enjoyed sweets alone in the dark, I smelled the aromatic smell and tasted the mellow taste of rice wine, and they made me unable to let go.
Day after day, year after year. The seedlings of literature grew in my heart and became an indispensable part of my life.
Writing and writing, these immature words slowly took on the volume of a book. Through sorting, I found out that no matter how I wrote my words, they did not depart from Xiangxi, which gave birth to me and raised me. The customs and customs of Xiangxi, the scenery of Xiangxi and the daily life of Xiangxi people have all become the material for my writing, and unconsciously, I have accumulated more than 100,000 words. So, I categorized these articles into: customs, landscapes, charm, atmosphere, wind language, and micro-prose.
It happened that several literary friends in Xiangxi met together to publish a set of prose collections with the theme of Xiangxi, and I was fortunate to join. This collection of essays, titled "A River Lives in My Heart," is a childish and immature collection of words that I have written over the years, but I still cherish them. They record my life, thoughts, and emotions. They are real, down-to-earth, flesh and blood, and a part of my life.
A friend asked me what was the purpose of publishing this bookAfter some thought, I replied, "It's a little summary." Just like when a student graduates from high school in three years, he must take a set of graduation photos to record his youth. My friend asked again, I have already published two books, will I continue to write?I smiled and replied in the words of a literary friend: as long as you live, you will keep writing. Not for anything else, just for love.
This is the voice of many like-minded people. How many people challenge mediocrity day after day with diligence, work silently between the lines, endure loneliness, and endure failure. Not for anything else, just for love. Of course, how happy it is to write for love and to be accompanied by words.
Ink and wash tamperLiu Hongchun.
Faded from the colorful colors, the winter of the Detam Miao Village is a brush painting with exquisite brushwork. This long scroll unfolds slowly, starting from Jiulong Creek and arriving at the entrance of Miao Village, which is several kilometers.
From autumn onwards, as the rainfall decreases, the fantastic quicksand waterfall has lost its vitality. The high cliffs do not see the rain and fog, leaving only the gray rock faces, revealing the coldness and bleakness of winter.
Liu Hongchun shared his reading experience with the children at the "Reading" Xiangxi 18-Hole Book Meeting.
And Jiulongxi is like a girl who has grown up suddenly, her posture has become slender and soft, and her temperament has become gentle and amiable. The naughty bear child in the spring and summer season is a simple lady at the moment.
The thin stream starts from Jiulong Pond and flows gently along the riverbed in a southeasterly direction with light steps. When it came across a large rock, it jumped lightly, jumped over, and splashed a few small splashes. When it hits a bend in the riverbed, it makes another sharp turn, and the dancer spins gracefully, dancing a beautiful whirlpool, like a beauty's misty eyes, and you will be intoxicated when you look at it.
The bright eyes of Jiulong Creek kept flashing and jumping with the scenery all the way. The Elephant Head Mountain and Conch Peak on the right are majestic and majestic, and the Suozi Rock on the left is tall and straight. The stream passed by them and couldn't help but greet them affectionately. As for the ten thousand customs in the canyon, it makes the stream can't bear to refuse, and it is inevitable to stay here and linger there, and finally flow zigzags to the downstream Detam Village.
The first stop in the village is the Solitaire Bridge. The inscription on the side of the bridge shows that the bridge covered with moss was built in 1933 and was built by 148 people at the initiative of Shi Chengzhen and Shi Chengjin, a large family of Detam. This bridge is the two sides of the village people day and night, and for the field of Daxing Village, Paidalu, Paibi area thoroughfare. It can be seen that the Jielong Bridge has been an important channel for trade between the surrounding townships and neighbors of Dethong. Today, this stone arch bridge paved with bluestone and made of lime and glutinous rice is still majestic after being polished by time and eroded by wind and frost.
The clear water of the stream rubs down the figure of the Solitaire Bridge, and connects it with the semi-circular bridge on the river surface to form a full moon. It's just that the full moon is half on the water and half on the water. The bluestone slab steps are the ladder to climb the full moon, and when you step up to the bridge, the lively "solitaire" scene seems to be right in front of you. The master of the solitaire walks in the front with the copper bell, and the "dragon girl" who is dressed in a costume and wears a silver hat with flower arrangement walks in the middle of the crowd, accompanied by gongs and drums, trombone, suona, and walks across the bridge in a mighty way, and the solitaire ceremony of the people of Detam is grand and solemn.
Green mountains, flowing water, small bridges, stone mills, cylinder cars, stilted buildings, red lanterns, etc., constitute a painting of ink and blue, rippling in Jiulong Creek. Smoke rises from the roof, bluestone slabs stretch underfoot, and the mottled inscription on the head of the bridge not only records the history of the bridge, but also records the simplicity and kindness of the people of Detam.
This Solitaire Bridge, which has carried nearly a century of wind and rain, still stands majestically at the feet of everyone, and the legendary story of Detam Miao Village starts from the bridge and extends from the bridge.
After crossing the Solitaire Bridge, Jiulong Creek enters the Deram Miao Village. The stream passes through the village and divides the Miao village into two halves.
Walking to the west, you will find the Yuquan Gate that leads to the rooftop. Thousands of steps really lead to the clouds. Standing on the high rooftop, the Deram Grand Canyon is like a model on a military map, and Jiulong Creek has become a thin line. Stilted buildings and cabins dot the middle of the canyon. Ahead is an abyss, behind which are surrounded by mountains, white clouds are overhead, and mist is swirling around. shouted, and the voice echoed in the heavens and the earth, and there was really the anxiety and panic of "not daring to speak loudly, for fear of frightening the people in heaven".
Legend has it that Qu Yuan was exiled to the Yuanli area and had been here. In this closest place to the sky, Qu Yuan talked to the sky. Those questions about heaven and earth, nature, social politics, life destiny, exploration and pursuit accumulated in the hearts of genius poets were expressed, leaving behind the world-renowned "Tianwen".
The sky is vast, the mountains are towering, and the people under the cliffs may be just a speck of dust between heaven and earth. However, people are great, at this moment, you can't help but give birth to all kinds of pride, head to the sky, feet to the ground, the deep mountains and valleys under your feet, the thousands of rivers and mountains into your arms. The vision is far-reaching, and the heart is open-minded. Not far away, the world-shaking Dwarzhai Bridge is a miracle of human beings overcoming nature, and it is a dream come true that the moat becomes a thoroughfare.
The cold wind blew on his cheeks, and the cold rose from the soles of his feet, and the steps down the mountain were a little hurried. A warm bonfire was lit in the Miao Village Style Garden, and the sound of Miao drums came from the foot of the mountain. The wonderful folk performance began, with intoxicating barricade wine, beautiful barricade songs, and cheerful welcome dances. The amorous Miao girl dressed in costumes came in style, and the curtain of the mysterious Miao Village was slowly unveiled in the winter night. The barricade wine was full of the enthusiasm of the girls, the sound of Miao drums sounded the heroism of the Miao family, and the solitaire dance moved the joy and auspiciousness of Miao Village.
The calm heart was restless, and the whole Miao village was restless. Ancestor worship, singing and dancing, witch slugging, vertebral cow ......The ancient and mysterious rituals reappeared, and the primitive breath came to the face, which was an affectionate look back at the ancient life, and a grateful and remembrance of the ancestors of the Miao family.
The sky darkened, and Pangu Peak, Wentiantai and the surrounding mountains retreated together and disappeared into the thick night. Stilted buildings, stone roads, stone mills, and tube cars are hazy and looming in the lights. The Miao village has regained its tranquility.
At night, snowflakes flutter one after another, silently descending, falling on the wide circular square, falling into the water of the Qingling Jiulong River, and spreading on the roofs of the green tile wooden houses. Early the next morning, when the window was opened, the distant mountains were gray, the green tiles turned white, the slabs, cornices, beams, flower windows, and carved railings were still the old ink color, and the Detam Miao Village became a black and white ink world. Only the big red lanterns hanging under the eaves of the stilted buildings are burning like a fire in winter.

Zhang Qiangyong. The water and soil of one side nourish the people of one side, and the water and soil of the other side nourish and nourish the culture of the other. Xiangxi is a fertile soil for humanity, and the wonders in Xiangxi's fireworks are worth writing about. Recording the past scenery, writing about the changes of the times, reflecting the lives of the general public, and leaving precious words to history, the "Xiangxi Song of Songs" series is nothing less than a useful attempt and exploration, and has borne fruitful results.
Writer Liu Hongchun's "There is a River Living in My Heart", which is one of the nine volumes of "Xiangxi Yage", is placed on my desk, open the page, and recommend the preface "New Xiangxi, New Writers, New Writing", which met me unexpectedly, fit my mind, and was really surprised.
Liu Hongchun communicates with colleagues after class.
Hongchun's prose starts from her hometown of Xiangxi, from the customs, scenery, charm, atmosphere, and language of her hometown of Xiangxi, to the end of "micro-prose", I read a kind of ferry from the geographical space of Xiangxi to the culture, history, and time space of Xiangxi, forming a rich cultural connotation unique to Xiangxi in the writer's penI read her affectionate and rational indulgence and understanding of the world in her hometown of Xiangxi;I read about the colorful folk customs and strange landscapes;I read about the pursuit and protection of the love of the world;I read the docking with Xiangxi folk customs, and felt the same voice and resonance of nature, life, and the aura of life from the depths. In Hongchun's pen, Xiangxi, the old garden, is not an abstract concept, but a plump and concrete Xiangxi scenery and human feelings, with fresh and rough human fireworks, and an expression of the fields where suffering and hope coexist and the details of life in different forms.
In the "Customs" and "Scenery", "The Year of the Miao Dai" depicts the scene of the villagers of Huayuan and the Miao Year: "The long table banquet is set up, the braised pork is served, the big bowl of wine is drunk, the funds are staggered, the guests are happy, and a lively Chinese New Year's Eve meal begins......"And this sumptuous Chinese New Year's Eve dinner should be eaten from afternoon to evening until the end of the song. The well-fed people leave the table with happy burps, the drunk staggered to their feet, the children still tirelessly laugh and play in the feast, and the village is intoxicated with the rich smell of the New Year.
The custom of "Tu Cha Xiao Nian" is "watching performances, playing glutinous cakes, and eating long table banquets", and the Tujia sisters and brothers dressed in costumes sang into the ** song duet, enjoying the vivid and interesting scenes such as "magpie making a matchmaker", "starling bathing", "brood chicken tailing" and so on. "Catching an Autumn Event" and "Miao Family Barricade Wine" depict the folk customs of Huayuan Miao people rushing to autumn, Miao family barricade wine, and celebrating the Miao New Year. "The Mysterious Straw Knot" writes about the straw knot seen on the roadside, "It is sincere persuasion, it is a kind prevention, it is a system and law without words", ......With the help of these memories and the narration of things, the author opens the floodgates of time, giving the former life scene the texture and body temperature of real life. This is Hongchun's "social writing" of the details of life in Xiangxi. Hongchun firmly believes that no living person should be nameless, and should have the right and dignity to be recorded and recognized. This is a kind of recognition and respect for life. Personnel from the folk of Xiangxi allow writers to re-examine life and time, and re-understand meaning and value.
Hongchun writes about the history, culture, and humanistic customs of Xiangxi. In the article, she wrote, "Xiangxi has opened a thick and ancient door for us, and the beautiful scenery inside the door is intoxicating and makes people sigh." As Tian Maojun, chairman of the Hunan Provincial Folk Literature and Art Association, said, in the text of Hongchun, "the customs and scenery of Xiangxi and the daily life of Xiangxi people have become the writing materials of Hongchun." Those ancient folk festivals are resurrected in her pen, and those folk songs are transformed into dance melodies, dancing freely in the dense forest of words. "Time is passing, changing, life is going on, and people are not troubled and helpless. Looking back, I can feel the stubbornness and persistence of Xiangxi people's life, tradition. The author conveys this affection in a plain and simple way, and writes in a moisturizing and silent way.
In the chapters "My Father and Mother" and "Aging Father" in the series "Atmosphere", Hongchun uses a witty and relaxed tone to describe the details of his mother's hospitalization, and also brings the image of an old father who relies on his wife and children to the "old child" on the page. She brings to life the image of life-loving, caring neighborly, flesh-and-blood parents vividly in front of readers. "Good men are ambitious, I can't trap you at home in the name of motherly love. "The world is very big, and what is bigger than the world is the heart of a good man. ”…Mother and Child Book", "Sending Children to the College Entrance Examination Caprice", etc., the words of mother-son love and father-son love let readers integrate into it.
The fifth series of "Wind Words" writes about secular life and the various states of the world, using meticulous observation, subtle psychology, small examples, and detailed descriptions to write about the fireworks in the world and present inner compassion; The sixth series of "Micro Essays" is small and big, telling love and writing every paragraph, and the stories are like waves blooming on the vast land of Xiangxi.
Ever since I was sensible, I have had a river in my heart. Like the swings in the spring breeze, the butterflies dancing in the sun, and the first flowers blooming in the morning dew, this river brought countless joys to me at a young age, and caused me to have too many reveries and yearning for beauty in my heart. As one of the works of "Xiangxi Yage", "A River Lives in My Heart" is Hongchun's sincere and enthusiastic writing of his hometown, Acura Xiangxi, and his love and affection for the new Xiangxi. The author does not stick to the literature and science of the sages and does not be confined to the cognition of ordinary people, but is truly integrated into the core of life and life experience in his hometown. The writer has made great efforts to find the combination of literature and life, and has made great efforts to find the entry point of the structure of the article, using solid writing skills to make his hometown a unique memory symbol, and using small and trivial things to salvage the narrative that has been hidden memory. In Hongchun's article, I saw that the rural scenery that had precipitated her blood and bones was presented in the form of words, not vague impressions, but concrete and sensible words with temperature, a river recorded in words, the plants and trees that composed the countryside scenery, and the simple ...... of faith in the countryside
Under Hongchun's pen, the thick history of Xiangxi and the current life of Xiangxi present each other, gaze at each other and confirm each other, so that her words will have a high degree of consistency between life experience and literature and art, and will exude the unique atmosphere of a writer. Hongchun's first collection of essays, "Scattering Spring Petals", won the Bingxin Children's Literature Award for New Writing and the recommended book list for children's new books, proving his literary strength. Here, to borrow Hongchun's words in "Self-Introduction": as long as you live, you will keep writing. Not for anything else, just for love.

Famous testimonials
Tian Maojun, chairman of the Hunan Folk Literature and Art Association and professor of the School of Literature of Jishou University:
Hong Chun is a middle school Chinese teacher who has published a collection of children's literature, Petals Scattered in Spring. "A River Dwells in My Heart" is her second book. In terms of content, it is already very different from the first one. The complex social life replaces the simple fairy tale world, and the complex social relations replace the purity and transparency of the children's world.
This book consists of six volumes, including customs, landscapes, charm, atmosphere, wind language, and micro-prose. Personally, I particularly like the articles in the "Customs" series, which describe the famous Miao Autumn Festival in Huayuan, the dragon boat race in Chadong, the Miao family barricade wine, the Miao New Year, and so on.
I see it as Hongchun's "social writing". As a native of Xiangxi who was born and raised in Sri Lanka, Hongchun is familiar with everything here. In this book, the customs and customs of Xiangxi, the scenery of Xiangxi and the daily life of Xiangxi people have all become the material for her writing. Those ancient folk festivals are resurrected at the end of her pen, and the charm and elegance of those Miao songs are turned into beating melodies, dancing freely in the dense forest of words, which is both beautiful and full of vitality.
