This article is a bit long, and it is estimated that it will take a few minutes to read it.
The day before yesterday, I wrote an article that answered some questions about unpaid blood donation based on my own experience of unpaid blood donation, which also aroused discussion among netizens, and there were three arguments for discussion: one is that I don't donate blood, the second is that I support you, and I have been donating blood, and the third is that I don't donate blood, and I will laugh at you for being stupid if you donate blood.
The argument is to question that I am a child for unpaid blood donationQuestioning whether donating blood twice a month is fake, because you can only donate blood once in half a year, etc.;Questioning that blood donation is harmful to health;Questioning some of the leadership, public offices do not donate blood;Questioning that blood donation cannot be reimbursed, and blood cannot be used for free;Questioning the profiteering of blood banks and hospitals after unpaid blood donation, etc.
I don't respond much to the discussion in the comment area, not because I don't want to respond, but because I found that after responding to individual comments, there will always be a feeling that I haven't made it clear, so I also plan to say my understanding in this article based on my personal perspective, and also make a simple response to those questions, which doesn't mean anyone other than me, don't spray if you don't like it, just take a look.
The first argument is that I don't donate blood. This is okay, unpaid blood donation is voluntary, there is no voluntary premise who asks you to donate blood can refuse, whether it is other blood donors, volunteers, blood collection staff, because when the use of blood is very tight, there is no policy requirement that someone must donate blood, so as long as you don't want to donate blood, just say no, it's not an embarrassing thing to don't want to donate blood. But don't donate blood half-pushed, otherwise it will be easy to donate blood, but you will not be happy in your heart.
The second argument is that I support you, and I am also involved in unpaid blood donation. First of all, I want to give you a thumbs up, whether you are interested in blood donation, because you are curious, because you are driven by the people around you, because you can use blood for free, because of the promotion of the blood station or other reasons, you are worthy of praise. Blood donation can save people, it can be said to be one of the ways to save people at the lowest cost, as the old saying goes, saving a life is better than creating a seven-level floating slaughter.
I have a deep understanding that a few years ago, I participated in a directional blood donation, when a colleague's wife gave birth to a child with heavy bleeding, the platelet content dropped sharply, and the blood station was in an emergency for the platelet inventory of the appropriate blood type, and the blood station said that you can donate blood for type O blood around you, and the platelets donated in the direction are only for your wife, and then I participated. It was the first time that we felt that life was so urgent, and that saving lives only took one thought.
The third argument is that I don't donate blood, and if you donate blood, I will laugh at you for being stupid. There are not a few people who hold this kind of argument, they should have seen it through, or they didn't see it through. What I saw through was that it was difficult to use blood after donating blood on the Internet, feeling unwell after donating blood, feeling that the blood station hospital was making illegal profits, and so onI didn't see it through, probably because I didn't participate in blood donation, but it was just hearsay and didn't have an in-depth understanding.
People have social attributes, people are also in the social environment, people are very different from each other, the way of doing things is also very different, people who are not willing to donate blood will not be forced, but for those who donate blood, please don't be cold, because their actions are small, only roll up their sleeves, but this spirit is great.
The first question, I am a child who donates blood for free, I can state that these articles are my personal behavior, and I have never heard that I still need to find a trust for unpaid blood donation, and I advocate for unpaid blood donation because there will indeed be an emergency with blood, and there will be certain moments when a large amount of blood is needed, but also because the shelf life of blood is not long, and most importantly, blood can really save people.
The second question is that donating blood twice a month is fake, and the requirement is that it can only be donated once every six months. There are two types of blood donation that I know of, one is component blood donation, and the other is whole blood. Component blood is what we often call platelets, and the blood donation cycle of component blood in China is 15 days, and some other countries are 7 days. So it's perfectly fine to have blood twice a month. Whole blood is a semi-annual cycle.
Why is there such a big difference?Because the way of donating blood is different, whole blood is to directly draw 400ml of blood, and your body will reduce 400ml of blood, so blood donors may experience dizziness and discomfort after donation. The component blood is to extract the blood, separate the platelets through the separator, and then transfuse the remaining blood back into the body, with less blood loss, faster recovery, and a shorter blood donation cycle.
In fact, blood donation is that the staff is more nervous than you, once there is discomfort, they will always take care of it, find a way to eliminate the discomfort, and if it doesn't work, the blood donation will be terminated.
The third question is that blood donation is harmful to health, and there may be some blood donors who feel strong discomfort or last for a long time after donating blood, if there is such a situation, they can contact the blood bank to deal with it. It varies from person to person, but personally, I haven't had a long period of discomfort or a strong reaction.
It is also recommended here that if you are unwell or weak, it is best not to consider or try to donate blood for free. Laboratory tests will also be done before donating blood, and blood donation is not allowed if the indicators are not qualified.
The fourth question, questioning the leadership, whether public offices donate blood. If you have paid attention to the official website of the local blood center, you will find that the blood center often organizes blood donation teams to collect blood from ** units and public institutions, whether it is a county-level unit, a city-level unit, or a provincial-level unit, all of them participate in unpaid blood donation.
The fifth question is that blood donation cannot be reimbursed and blood cannot be used for free. I haven't used it, and I can't say it in detail, I also hope that I will never use it, and I hope that the majority of netizens will never use it, and they will all be healthy. However, this is stipulated in the policies and regulations and can be consulted.
The sixth question is the profiteering of blood banks and hospitals after unpaid blood donation. I don't pay much attention to this, so I can't talk deeply, but some netizens commented that they have used blood before, more than 100 bags of blood, in fact, you can also know that it is really not expensive to use blood**, what is expensive is the preservation and separation of laboratory tests when donating blood, what is expensive is the laboratory matching type of the blood station and the hospital before blood transfusion, and what is expensive is the rejection detection after blood transfusion, etc., because expensive machinery and equipment are required to achieve it.
The article is very long, if you have the patience to see this, give you a thumbs up.
Based on my experience and cognition, I expressed some of my own opinions, which do not represent authority, do not represent a third person, but only represent some of my own superficial ideas for everyone to criticize.
