A few days ago, in order to cooperate with the exhibition of "Engraved on the Land of the Great Northern Wilderness - Printmaking Art Documentary Exhibition of the Great Northern Wilderness from the Late 50s to the Early 80s of the 20th Century from the Collection of the Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum", "Longjiang Art Lecture: The Spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness in Printmaking" and "Longjiang Art Lecture: Printmaking Takes Home - Printmaking Experience Workshop and Volunteer Training" were held at the Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum. Wang Liping, head of the Beidahuang Literature and History Center and secretary of the Party branch of Heilongjiang Provincial Agricultural Reclamation Management Cadre College, gave the audience a thorough interpretation of the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness.
The lecture introduced the geographical orientation of the Great Northern Wilderness, the historical evolution of Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation and the Great Northern Wilderness Group, and the development process of the Great Northern Wilderness prints, and analyzed the "Great Northern Wilderness Spirit" expressed in the Great Northern Wilderness prints. Zhang Xue, deputy director and secretary general of the Theory and Art Committee of the Provincial Artists Association and the Collection and Research Department of the Provincial Academy of Painting and Calligraphy (Provincial Art Museum), introduced the exhibition to the audience and suggested that everyone should visit the exhibition on the basis of an in-depth understanding of the "Spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness". Through the on-site tour of the exhibited works for the audience one by one, the method of appreciating the prints of the Great Northern Wilderness was introduced.
At the end of the event, nearly 30 visitors and museum volunteers experienced printmaking and took their works home. This way of listening, appreciating, and doing live printmaking experience brings a new feeling to everyone, and they will never want to leave.
