On December 28, a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Intraocular Lenses was held in Beijing. Li Yong, deputy general manager of China National Building Materials Institute and chairman of Sinoma High-tech, Zhang Weiru, chief expert of China National Building Materials Institute and strategic scientist of Sinoma High-tech, Na Shanshan, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Dongba Township, Beijing, and Zi Peng, chairman and general manager of the Institute of Intraocular Crystals, attended the event.
At 9:18 a.m., the colorful flower tubes were in full bloom, and in the applause, the west gate of the intraocular lens institute was officially opened. The guests cut the ribbon together. Zi Peng presided over the ceremony and said that the official opening of the new gate is a major event for the Institute of Intraocular Lenses. The Institute of Intraocular Lens will take this opportunity to open a new door, break into a new situation, make new achievements, and open a new chapter, strengthen confidence, cohesion, face difficulties, and catch up bravely.
At the subsequent 60th anniversary celebration ceremony, Zi Peng said that in the past 60 years, the crystal people have taken root in scientific research and achieved fruitful results, creating a group of scientific and technological talents with international and industry influence represented by Shen Dezhong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, who are the mainstay and the most valuable wealth of the crystal institute. Looking forward to the future, the new generation of crystal people will inherit and carry forward the spirit of crystals under the care and support of China National Building Materials Group, China National Building Materials General Institute and Sinoma High-tech Party Committee, and strive to build the Institute of Intraocular Lens into a first-class enterprise that is relied on by the state, respected by the industry and proud of employees.
Four leaders of the Institute of Intraocular Crystals shared the major scientific and technological achievements, development and applications achieved in the past 60 years. Zhang Fuchang shared the key preparation technologies of large-size, large-thickness and high-quality CVDZNSE crystalsFan Shigang introduced the research and development results of ultra-low expansion glass-ceramicShi Ruize elaborated on the key technologies of titanium oxide phosphate rubidium electro-optical crystal and device engineeringWang Xiaoliang explained the super-large sapphire crystal by the guide mode method.
Du Hongbing, deputy general manager of the Institute of Intraocular Lenses, gave a comprehensive introduction to the historical evolution, scientific research and development, reform and innovation, and future prospects of the Institute of Intraocular Lenses, and released an introduction to the 60th anniversary album of the Institute.

The participants also visited the new exhibition hall of the Institute of Intraocular Crystals. Four exhibition areas have been set up here, including "The Journey of Cultivating Crystals", "The Great Materials of the Country", "Creating Beauty" and "Crystal Museum", which display the historical evolution, scientific research achievements, crystal display, achievements and honors, development strategies and other contents of the Institute of Intraocular Crystals. According to reports, the new exhibition hall allows participants to experience its charm through immersive design. In the future, the new exhibition hall will also become a new window for the external brand image promotion and capability display of the Institute of Intraocular Lenses.
